My car

Yooo, I got my first car about a month ago! I bought it from a friend, it was only going to be 100 dollars, but they just got new tabs so it was 140. It is a 1988 Ford Tempo and it runs ok, but theres just a few minor problems with it which is why I might be getting a new car soon.

The sun roof is no longer there. One cold night, my friend forgot his keys in his car so he tried to pop the roof open with a screw driver... big mistake.. it shattered all over the seats. So he put a bag over it and taped it. Well, when I bought the car, the first night, i forgot my keys in there so I had to rip open the bag and it was too cold for the duct tape to stick. So now I have cardboard taped on the top of my car o_O

The passenger seat is broken. It doesn't stay up. If I stop, then accelerate quickly, the seat leans way back. It's really funny when someone new gets in my car and doesn't expect it, lol.

The gas gauge doesn't work. I'll be running on empty and it will say I have a full tank.

The car has more rust that the Titanic. Maybe I'll get a new paint job... maybe I'll just get another car. I can't go 50 without the car swaying to the left and right like crazy. There's a few more minor problems, like the back seat can easily be taken out, the trunk doesnt open, and all the damage done to the car while my friend had it. Like one of his friends crashed it into a lightpole, his other friends carved stuff into the paint, but it's all good. at least it runs.

so what do you think? do you think 140 was a good deal? I do, considering it was my moms money.

if it runs and takes ya places 140 its a deal....as for paintin id get some fancy colored duct tape and go to town.. just get buisy with the duct tape.tape that sunroof up, tape that seat down, hell tape it to the backseat back in, an if ya have to really to get into the trunk remove the back seat, and make a hole. ya can tape that back up as well.
ooooh itd be a conversation piece er im sure it already is
oooh and keep extra heavy dutly duct tape on hand for when you run outta gas maybe ya can make a chain and get pulled...
140 and runs isa deal.

Get some off road tires at a junk yard, and some camo colored duct tape, and you got yourself a brand new SUV,,,sweeeeet

sounds like a beast.
i would put a minimal amount of money back into that thing, and save for a down payment on something nice while u have a working car.
