Since the internet is basically just a fuck-ton of computers all hooked up ina network, what would happen if for some reason, all the computers in the world shut down? What would be holding the internet up?

Maybe it's a dumb question, but this is just my limited understanding of the interweb. And Im mildly retarded at the moment.

It's all held up by the used fishnet stockings of a former stripper, and airplane glue... oh, wait, no, thats the net I hang my plants from to dry! Nevermind!

If all the computers shut down, the last thing you need to worry about is the internet. On topic, if all the computers shut down, then essentially the internet will shut down.

The man speaks the truth. You have to realize that every website you visit is hosted on a computer just like yours. It may look a little different and run a completely different set of software, but it's a computer none the less. There's no big box labeled 'internet' to which we all connect; the hundreds of millions of singularly insignificant boxes comprise the whole.

Also, if all the computers in the world shut down there would be no more free porn.
