Hello board first time poster long time lurker...

What made me wanna start a topic is the whole Mayan prophecy thing...

What if there right and were headed for the next ice age?

At first I was scared but now I'm not,think about did'nt we survive the last ice age.

And on top of that did'nt we advance from primates to homosapiens....

I think it's a good thing,think about it,It would be like dragonball Z since were all gonna mutate.(Phisically and mentally).

Imagine it doing kameha's and flying in the sky....that would be sweet

There would still be racism though(Humans and metahumans)...and dont forget the ones who don't mutate but have super powers and shit(still meta humans)

I also was reading something about how the aids Vitus is really alien DNA...If thats true then that means all the vaccination they was giving to the Africans were really good..Meaning they will be advanced further in the next cycle...(Karma I love you)

I dont know how long it will actually take for all the ice to melt(ask a logic nut)
but I know when it does civilization will start instantly.

Plus being the curious humans we are we will evacuate and find all this shit we did earlier.

Imagine what the Middle ages,Renniesance,Dark age will be this time,and how long do you think it will take us too reach this marking point we are in right now?

Call me crazy but I would rather believe in this then what the goverment is feeding us,plus the Iraq war....damn.....

Well, I don't know what anything in your post has to do with mayans, but my suggestion to you would be not to believe everything you read on the internet.

It has everthing to do with Mayans,cause they prohesized that in 2012 there will be solar flares thruout the wilkyway(our galaxy).And the sun will burn 20 billion times stronger for a period of 20 years.(or was it each solar flare lasting 20 years)

I can't tell you how many principles of physics that violates right there.

And as far as I've read; they have no clue what the end of the Mayan calendar means. Beyond the end of a cycle.

Besides; the Mayans obviously aren't very good at precognition -- they couldn't foresee the collapse of their civilization after all.


And it's not a good idea to base your world-view on dogmatic convictions; they're notoriously unreliable.

And second the mayans cannot predict specific events...they use the sun as a scientific device.Meaning they can see floods,landslides,anything that has to do with the weather.

Well see, that's the problem; the is no scientific evidence of such, and none of our much more advanced scientific evidence comes anywhere close.

I don't know where you're getting this all from; the Mayans. From all of our arcehological and anthropological information, we know that the Mayans values astronomy and mathematics, definitely.


I doubt that the Mayans even knew what the sun was, though. You also have to keep in mind that the Mayans were religious fanatics and also threw in a huge lump of mythology and astrology into their science. They were observant, but not as meticulous.

Are you just making this up? The mayans prophecized nothing, the last cycle of their calander ends on December 21, 2012. What could this mean? I don't know, people speculate. I can guarantee you the sun won't burn "20 billion times stronger for a period of 20 years" That is just ridiculous and for aynone to think that it could even be possible is kinda sad.


Like I said before dude, dont' believe everything you read.


*edit* I was wondering if you could provide a link to where you read this information? Or is it just something you thought you read somewhere? That's what it seems like, because I've read lots of ideas on what 2012 could bring and never heard of this particular theory.

you know whats really messed up...I'd approximate that about 5-6 times a week, i look at a digital clock and see 12:21. frequently i wake up in the middle of the night and 12:21 is staring back at me. its kind of freaky. im not worried really about whatever they predict based on sun cylces or whatever.

Let me teach you something. New Years Eve use to be in March, now its in January. So anytime during the 2012 year the so called "end" would happen. Also you really thing in the year 0-1 the Mayans made this and 2012 years later as it is now its suppose to be the end. Yeah right........ They lived a long time ago!!

Just think about it every time theres a threat to the planet something happens.

Before it was a comet now its sunflares...Shit I'm starting to think that aliens were here before no twice Egyptians.(I'll believe in God before I believe in aliens but who knows)

I really think something is pushing me to do this for instance I was watching the LeftEye VH1 RockDoc.

And it was'nt even on VH1 but VH1 soul....I never watch that channel but this hour long TLC block caught my attention...wierd!!!!

But back to her death.There were 8 people in the car when she died and she was the only once that was mortally wounded.7 being the number.She also had a group named Egypt.

She also died in hounduras which is basically the Mayan civilization.The scary thing about it is she had a dream the day before she died.She basically explained what the Myans were saying.

The only thing I can make sense of is the SuperNova thing. I'm guessing that's supposed to connect to the sun turning into a super nova. That's not going to happen, scientists figured that out. Edit...read your new post. The sun is not going to die out for another 5 BILLION years. Scientists have proven that also. It's amazing how modern science is so...modern.
