How to avert bad boomer trips/tell me your bad trip

So 3 times i took mushrooms, i have had a bad trip. i have only been eating an eighth to 2.5 grams each time. I felt my entire emotional spectrum come crashing onto me. I kept telling myself that bad things can't happen i'm just eating mushrooms but i can't counter act the feeling that i get. Every bad feeling i have ever had compounded into a short period of time.

each time i've had a bad trip, my friends have left me for myself. But recently i have predicted the onset of the bad trip even before it actually happened.

the weird thing is that prior to my first bad trip i loved mushrooms and had many many real good trips on them.

i ate an 8th of mushrooms and started sippin on a corona...and woooww...i got nausous...then all of a sudden...the grass started glowing and waving in the wind....do not mix shrooms + alcohol = a really good time or really bad time, depends on how you look at it.

i personally think bad trips are caused by extremely potent mushrooms, opposed to contaminated shrooms.

thats strange, i always hear about people having bad trips but i cant even imagine one. iv tripped probly 20-25 times and never had one. i guess just go into it knowing youll have fun?

I've never had a bad trip either...on anything, Everytime i've tripped I kind of isolate myself with ONLY a few friends and have one person that is sober to watch me and remind me that i'm tripping on shrooms/salvia etc. Smoking a bowl of bud with shrooms tends to prevent bad trips aswell.

I've had bad parts of each my trips all brought on by different things. Your friends leaving you is definitely not cool. Talk to them about it; I'm sure they wouldn't leave you on purpose and they'll make sure not to do it again.

The fact that you're thinking about having a bad trip probably isn't helping anything. I think that's what happened to me on my worst part of my first trip. I kept telling myself not to have a bad trip and to think positively, and the opposite happened.

my bad trip was gettin arrested my first time takin acid in the 8th grade. the only person ive ever met who had this same experience was in the car with me that night. when i saw the red and blue lights, my heart skipped a beat. i didnt get any charges, but my parents had to come pick me up, and it was my first time gettin caught smoking, or getting in trouble with the cops. i wish i wouldnt have got into the car that night, but i love tellin the story, cause everyone who heres it is like "holy shit, thats the craziest thing ive ever heard"

ive only done shrooms once and had like a halfway bad trip. i think you have to be in good surroundings so you don't freak out and stuff. on the come up and the beginning part it was pretty cool, just walking around and tripping out at stuff on the beach at night. then i started to get cold and that affected me really bad. i think just the fact that i was cold was influencing me and making me have a bad trip...i started just getting really anxious and kinda being pissy with people. then i went back up to my car with just a few friends and we put the heat on, listening to some music, smoked a couple bowls of bud, and everything was cool. i think its more about the environment than anything else...though im not exactly an experienced shroomer so i couldn't really say.

ok so one time i ate 2.5 grams of some pink buffalo, and later i was obviously trippin balls, everything i looked at was outlined in red and blue lines, i did not enjoy it one bit, it was crazy and cool, but i just didnt want that intense of a trip that night, ya know? so it made me very uncomfortable, about an hour later i feel like im going to faint, so i tell myself 'find a cozy spot to land, quick!' and run to my girlfriend lazy boy and plop down, and instead of fainting, i blacked out and had a seizure, it was only about 10 seconds, but it was so extremley intense, i dont know if anyone else has had seizures on or off shrooms but i was getting some INSANE closed eye visuals, i could feel my body contorting as i was blacked out, i was almost in a dream state, i wake up to my girlfriend next to me crying her ass off scared as all hell, and it took me about 15 min. to NOT fall asleep, i was so very very tired, and i had heard of people passing out on E from dehydration and dying in their sleep, but i didnt know i was dehydrated yet, so as i go to stand up, i feel the sharpest pain in both my calf muscles, they were totally cramped top to bottom all around! i was in so much pain, and i had realized i didnt drink anything during the trip, and i had smoked about an 1/8 of NYC sour diesel, which im sure got me dehydrated enough to have a seizure, scary shit man.



so [obvious] tip #1: STAY HYDRATED!

I have these cambodian shrooms that ive been growing and i finally picked the first flush last week. The first time i tried them it was fun but since I only had like 2 grams all i got was a body high and a happy spaced-out feeling. So on saturday i decided to go balls out and i ate about 7 grams dry on an empty stomach. About an hour later i was tripping the fuck out. I dont really remember anything that happened except some strong visuals I had looking at random things around my apartment. It got to a point where I felt that i couldnt control anything my body did, but i didnt let it bother me, I just went along with everything that was happening. It really took a lot out of me, but it was pretty cool experience to have. I dont even want to know what a bad trip on shrooms is like, especially on a high dose.
