i would say 85%. First of all these guys got millions of dollars to piss away, most of them are in thier low to mid twenties, they are some of the best conditioned athletes in the world so smoking would barely slow them down.

And to the person that said you can't play high I would have to disagree I played basketball in high school me and two of my boys (including one who is playing basketball at a division I school right now) used to smoke a blunt before almost every game

I have yet to meet a professional wakeboarder that didn't smoke, and i've met several. Same with snowboarders and BMX guys. I think it varies by sport and the culture associated with that sport. The number's probably higher in the NBA than in the NHL or the PGA, because of the cultures associated with it. Well, maybe not the PGA, since I know SEVERAL people with close ties to the golf community that blaze on a regular basis. I've actually watched tour pros pick up now that i think about it.

Ricky Williams smokes weed for stress. Colin Cowherd doesn't feel that Ricky Williams has stress. Stress is a mailman who has to support five kids, or a construction worker with an ex-wife and an alimony payment.
Off ESPN.com and he just got caught the other day. Plenty of athletes smoke. Basketball its marijuana, Baseball its steroids and marijuana, Football its marijuana and just about everything. Don't know about soccer. I play hackey sack with a group of kids at my high school, fun as shit and we all smoke. A basketball player was joking about marijuana or whatever the other day. I think its great. Pro for people not to be so inorant and arrogant about marijuana.

About ten years ago Charles Oakley claimed 60% of NBA players went to games high. I think that's a huge overestimate, but it probably does reflect the fact that a majority of NBA players do smoke. I just hope they keep it to the offseason. They're being payed a lot of money to be perfectly conditioned athlete.

I guess I can see that. I remember me and a buddy used to blaze everytime before our club soccer games. We even played in the Premier division - our team was very, very good. I played keeper. and every time I got baked I had more energy to go after things. I made saves and saw things that I never would've if I was sober. He also played amazingly well ripped. I've also seen some people just totally die and not do shit during a game while baked. Depends on the person I suppose. Imagine how dry your mouth would be after an NBA quarter ripped as fuck.
