What the hell happened to me?!

Well, this may be kind of hard to explain, but it freaked me out.

I enjoyed it actually, but Id like an explanation.

Ok, here goes:

Earlier Today, around 3pm or so I hadn't been feelin good all day, and was tired because After being up for over 30 hours I only had about 5 hours asleep and was still dead tired.

I decided to just say fuck all my shit to do today and go to sleep.

I went to my bed and lied down on my stomach and closed my eyes.

IMMEDIATELY (within seconds) this extremely strong rush came over me. It first felt like I was 1000 pounds, then it felt like i was picked up (still feeling heavy as hell all over my body) and it felt like i was dropped back on my bed. I opened my eyes, still awake, confused. Enjoying it though (kinda like a couchlock trip haha) I just shrugged it off and closed my eyes. It happened again! Exactly the way it had before it repeated itself. I sat up, even more confused. As tired as I was though, again, I shrugged it off and lied down, closing my eyes once more. A third time it happened, but this time it wasn't immediate, or as "strong" I guess, and it seemed like maybe I was drifting into sleep, but the other two were so real I'm thinking it was some kind of sleep problem, no idea... almost as though I was dreaming while awake.

So there ya have it... What the hell hapened to me?!

but nope, sober as can be. Hadnt even smoked since like 10pm the night before.

Don't know if you can't really explain it but something like that happend to me.

I was laying in bed, closed my eyes and it felt like a rush, like a bunch of blood rushing to my head I couldn't feel it but I sure as hell heard it, and you know that ring you get when supposedly someones talking about you? I got that too, and it was totally weird but awesome at the same time.

Edit- I was also sober and have been.

Damn man, i have no idea. Sounds like you where just way to over tired and your body was telling you, that you must sleep.

You okay buddy? Must've been a panic attack. One of my friends had that same feeling of being overweight, except it was her feet this time while she was trying to get out of bed, but couldn't.

I have this happen to me multiple times a week. It's been happening my whole life. I just welcome it because its completely relaxing. I found out that if you just lay there and don't move any muscles you can induce it. If you feel it once just don't move it probably will happen a few more times.

I'm not sure what this feeling is or what it meens but, hey, It's a free rush lol.

anyways, I got a doc's appointment anyways tomorrow for something else, so I'll mention it.

Yup and you can't move any of your muscles if you don't move and let it happen, until you want it to stop, right?

i used to get feelings like that alot as a child (during sleep)
i absolutely hated it! And i still get it once in a while.

The feelings were accompanied by visions of huge boulders floating around and crashing into eachother - really hard to explain

This has happened to me multiple times as well, usually when I'm extremely exhausted. Sometimes it is accompanied by a sheer feeling of terror, and somehow I force myself out of it.

The best I can figure is that it's related to sleep paralysis (which I've also had and sucks real bad).

Anyway, sometimes when this happens I feel great, and other times it's scared the shit out of me, like something is pushing down really hard on my chest trying to steal my soul, lol.

Idk if its the same thing but sometimes I'll be sleeping then a big rush will wake me up and ill open my eyes and see everything in my room but im literally paralyzed, my whole body for about 5 seconds. It is has happened a lot and every time it does I try harder and harder to like move my lets but it feels like there strapped down to my bed along with the rest of my body. Hasn't happened in a while but its still weird.
