so this sexy bitch i know is tryin to tell me shes half british because her dad is british. now at first i was like ok and didnt think much about it. but then i was like hold up british aint a race how can you be half british? and shes like nah blah blah blah im half british. so can you be half british? doesnt make any sense to me

Some people claim to be like half Irish, right? That's like the same thing. It's always been my opinion that if you were born in America, you're American.

::edit:: And just to add, for instance, Charlize Theron was born in South Africa and is always referred to as South African. Doesn't matter that's she's white, and her parents were French and German.

Call me crazy, but I think that your ancestry is strongly influences by it's geographical location and historical participation.

If my family hadn't lived on the Western Russian Boarder in 1942, my life would be much different today, but much more likely non existent.

Of course you can be half British, and yes I know how some people say you're born in this country blah blah blah, my family came over from Ireland, so that still means a lot to my family considering I'm almost like 3/4 Irish in my ancestry. So yea I'm Irish, Dutch, Flemmish, Belgian and I'm American, but see America is the one big difference we're like a melting pot of differnt backgrounds, people in Italy, there's a good chance their parents are full blooded Italian and not like half Scottish or something.

I think at some point ancestry loses it's value. Techinically, we are all Africans(at least that's what science tells us at this point). Personally, I consider myself American, and only American. My dad and mom were both born here, as were their parents. My great-grandparents immigrated, but so what? That's two generations ago for some blood lines, 6+ for others. I have no accent, I speak no other languages, and I never got to here any stories from any family members about where they came from. I know nothing about where my ancestors originally came from, and personally, I don't care. I'm American, that's enough for me.

If your born in america, your American. YUou may have British roots, but your still American. Oh and please refrain from calling a women a "bitch"

Thank you, I was gunna comment on that, most girls don't LIKE being called bitch, ho or any of those other cute phrases some men call us.

I don't go around saying to my friends I saw some damn hot bastard this morning walkin down the road... it sounds stupid, and it does when you call women bitches too, trust me.

No, thank you. Without women I don't know where I'd be. I absolutely love them It makes me ashamed when I hear guys calling women "Whores", "Bitches", and the works. I think it's an extreme lack of disrespect and is, to me, the same as calling a darker skinned person the "'N' word. It's dirogitory". Thank you for the Rep JollyRodger and have an amazing day
