You can download a bunch of live shows that people have recorded over the years (about a 30 year span). Files are huge though, so you probably wont want to download to many unless you have an external hard drive. Anything between 67-78 is basically golden, and you probably wont find any bad shows until the mid to later 80s. As for actual live albums... The closing of winterland ia great. Europe 72', Fillmore west 1969, and Filmore east 71 are all great albums too. Also, pretty much any of the "dicks picks" albums, are great. |

Internet Archive: Grateful Dead
Here's a website where you can stream all the shows, and you can download the audience recordings. You used to be able to download the soundboards, too, but I believe Bob Weir and his lawyer sued. I won't hold it against him.
