xbox live help

hey can any one give me a list of things i need to get xbox live.I have the core system of the 360 and a cable modem and i have no clue what to get to get one xbox live so any help would be nice

I'm not sure what the core system comes with...

You need:
Xbox 360
Modem with ethernet output (cable modems have this)
ethernet cable (came with my 360)
subscription

If you want to be able to use the internet at the same time as XBL then you need a router, if you want to use wireless then you need a wireless router and the wireless add on for the 360.
