smoking and usage

I never thought I ever made any discrimination against any group, gender, race, etc., but I've recently found that for some reason when I meet people who are relatively straight edged (no alcohol, no drugs of any kind), I get a bit cautious around them because I'm a firm believer that everyone should at least experience some form of inebriation in their life in order to understand the spectrum of perceptions and experiences man can have in one lifetime.

It's strange, but after recently hanging out with a few relatively straight edged people recently, I've found that I always feel uncomfortable and sometimes angry with them (depending on how straight edged they are).

Anyone else feel this way sometimes?

I could give a f**k less about what someone does on the spare time, shit I dont even bring up the word I'm what you call a secret stoner.Really the only people I dont like is people that make more money than me "cough white people cough cough" Lol

but thats not really a hate crime I'm just PlayaHating.

I've discussed this to lengths before. Straight edge people are just ignorant and naive. Try to reason with them, you'll do them a big favor.

I used to be straight edge in my early teenage years. If it wasn't for one wicked stoner-girl, who knows where I'd be today.

Ya, st8 edge ppl who make it seem that what your doing is horrid make me sick. But the ppl who are just st8 edge and don't bug ya about it dosn't make me mad in any way... But I think thats the same with almost any group. I think that it's just a matter of respect, if you show it, you get it.

i am currently straight-edge (only when i'm at school). however, i agree with you for the most part and i find the majority of straight-edged people ignorant. For example, I am straight edge for a good reason- I'm in school and trying to operate at my full capacity and am constantly learning/thinking. I find that the ones who say "i dont waste my time fucking myself up" to be dumb in the sense that most of them wont do anything productive with their free time (i.e. studying, learning) whereas i do.

One of my good friends doesn't smoke or drink. She would hang out with my friends and I while we were smoking, just had no desire to do it. She isn't the type to talk down about it though; she realizes that she doesn't want to drink or smoke, but I do.

I used to be straightedged back in high school, even into college a little. I was still rushed HARD by the fraternity my roommate pledged, though, cause i still went to all the parties and had a fantastic time, I just didn't drink or smoke. It's just wrong to hate on people for doing what they want. As long as they're not hurting anybody, who cares if they get drunk and pass out under the coffee table?
