So I've heard that you should never drop acid at night. Anyone have any experience doing this? I plan on dropping at around 7p.m should I be fine?

Are you kidding me? Most people drop at night. I've dropped dozens upon dozens of times at night. There isn't any reason not to drop at night. In fact dropping during the day can be overwhelming to some people.

Who the hell told you not to drop at night and why?

Dropping at night is great. I would reccomend dropping around 5 maybe so that you start tripping to the sunset.

Alright cool, thats what i wanted to know. Just some random people were telling me how the darker setting induces evil shit. Depends on the person I guess

another quick question, after how long do you actually stop trippin? I've read like 6-8 hours? If I trip at 7 will i be good to pass out around 2 in the morning?

the last blotter acid my friends and I took was really strong...we all took 2 hits at 6:30pm and we were tripping very hard from around 7:30 til 4-5 am or so...and after that I couldn't fall asleep til around 6 or so, whenever I closed my eyes I just had awesome visuals everywhere, and it was sweet (but I missed class the next morning haha)

it seems to me that your chances of having a bad trip during the day are just as bad during the night.

LSD is the only semi-synthetic drug I want to try.

A negative about doing high potency hallucinogens at night is that you'll be up for a long time, and depending on how your day was, you may start to feel like completel shit after around 4-5 hours of tripping. What's worse, you can't really fall asleep until you've come down substantially. I remember last time I did shrooms I took em around 11 PM (like a fucking idiot!), and I was tripping until the sun came up. Didn't get to sleep until about 6:30, woke up at 10 and just had a really weird day.

Just plan accordingly. If you know you'll be tripping all night, take a nap during the afternoon. The worst thing is sitting there waiting for your trip to come down enough while everyone else is already passed out!

i find i trip harder when i try. when i mellow out a little more then i get into a meditation mood and just sit there and listen to music and stare at something and let my mind wander. it helps a lot.

but yeah when you are trying to sleep its really hard cuz if you are still up real high then your mind will interpret sounds as visual spectacles and you cant just open your eyes if the room is all dark so its like you cant escape and thus you trip harder. but yeah dont drop at night if you have plans for anything before noon.
