DIY Double Bubbler, Activated carbon filter experiment, milkshots, and opium!!!

Been a while since i made a thread, so i thought id show you my double bubbler with some milkshots. The original thread!, click here..

I seen a roor activated carbon filter for bongs, and they state to take away carcinogens, and keep bong water clean, so i decieded to do an experiment. I took 2 new clean bottles, and all new tubing and added activated carbon betweeen the 2 chambers so you all can see the actual difference it made. You can literally drink the water out of the second chamber if you wanted too lol

I still got high, but it was more of a clean high, and the carbon clogged up after a while so i decided to scrap the idea. it tastes a little charcoally at 1st, but wears off after the first 2 hits or so, heres pics:

Milkshot!! along with my single homemade bubbler. Note the difference in color of the smoke, and water conditions. The 2nd chamber has no resin build-up at all, the carbon catches all the resin and stops it dead in its tracks.

can anyone guess the ps2 game i was playing?




lightbulb vaporizer attachment for my double bubbler. I used a stem from a broken bong bowl, i just kept chipping off the bowl with a file until i had a stem. I then rounded the edges with the file. it looks ghetto, but it gets me high off stems, lol

I also made some opium, i figure 15 hits worth for a grand total of 10 cents per high, i hope it works lol. this was made from 150g of seeds boiled in water.


if anyone wants a tutorial on that let me know, i got all the pics.

no it's true enough poppy seeds boiled then reduced to resin will get you laying out

holy fuck is all i have to say. i went and smoked a tiny bit of keif with a piece of the opium resin. I think i did too much because i conked out for an hour and a half. I felt disorientated and couldnt play ps2 properly. I went to the fridge and almost knocked a vase off the table because of that. My girlfriend also fell asleep, she never did any though because she has to work soon. I feel a little confused still, but i can tell it wears off. Ill make a tutorial later for the opium resin. I dont know if the opium did that, or the keif, or even if the opium works, iwill make a tutorial in the next hour or so.


ars, how did the 2 guys die? if theres a chance of overdosing i dont want to bother with it again and ill throw the batch out.

MANY WANTED TO KNOW HOW THE OPIUM WAS MADE. HERES HOW I MADE IT BASED ON OTHER THREADS AND SOME SURFING THE NET. I DONT KNOW IF I MADE IT RIGHT OR NOT, I JUST FIGURED ID TRY IT. i liked the taste of the smoke, and it really enhanced my high, but i cant compare it to a more potent sap opium from poppy plants and pods. it didnt seem like a big deal at all, and i did have a fun night not drinking a drop of alcohol. I cant really describe the intensity of it, but heres how i did it

How i did it:

buy poppy seeds, i used these and got about 15-20 hits if i want them


put in pot and turn element on high. boil seeds for 15-20 minutes stirring to keep the bottom of the pot clean.

after 2 minutes:

after 5 minutes boiling

need a means of straining. this strainer, although fine, was not fine enough, the seeds fell through. I couldnt find the finer one we had, i found it later lol. I made this using a funnel and a headshop screen taped to the bottom

after 15-20 mins of boiling you get a yellowy liquid. strain the seeds and it shall look like this:

this is what you want the pot to look like when your done. be really carefull at the end of the water evaporating as you will burn the resin. i kept lifting the pot up and down and stirred quickly

scrape to sides using razor, or other scraping tool. scrape the contours using a plastic spooon, or even a metal one would work fine. its hard to work with at first, but hardens up nice later on

heres what i got from 150g of seeds that costed me a whopping $1.50, lol

i tried it 2 times today, but wasnt smoking it right the 1st time. i had a filter and it felt like it caught alot of the smoke. i removed the filter and smoked out of my bong. i lit the ball up till it sizzled then sucked in and kept repeating until it turns hard

hope it all works out for you guys i found it make me clumsy, and i had a hard time playing vice city. me and my dad also made a "lung" smoking device, well thats another day and thread, later guys

you can tell its working, and feels like a weed head high. im going to be trying it today so ill let you know how i feel smoking straight opium, as i topped the last bowl off with keif

go to the biggest supermarket in your area and they will be there. i tried a few grocery stores as well as walmarts new food section, and found none. i went to the superstore and they had a few different ones. the seeds are used as a garnish for bread etc.

niceee. maybe you can describe the opium high you get from seeds. i cant put it to words as of yet, but i shall later. are you making it the same was as me? i want to make sure im doing it right
