haha before i get chewed out for this let me explain. Obviously this doesnt apply for all people who are OCD but sometimes it can be fucking funny as shit lol.

one of my friends is OCD and when walking down a hall, he doesnt like walking in front of doorways, so if there is a doorway on the right or left side he will stop for a second hesitating, and then will back up a little, and run past it as quick as he can LOL HAHAHAHAHAHAHA me and him were laughing about it though cause like he realizes its strange but he cant help it. ahhh fun times lol sometimes he will even go into the room so that he can walk back out in the other direction so he technically isnt "passing" the doorway. lol anyone else have any similar experiences?

My sis cannot go to sleep unless she hears goodnight from everyone in the house. She will stay up and not sleep until everyone says it. If she annoys me sometimes I will not say goodnight and she won't go to sleep and is up all night

i saw that one too. the dude who checked his door to make sure it was locked about 50 times was nuts. my roommate is OCD but not crazy like the people on the show.

I remember that one... there was this guitarist/vocalist who was doing "rituals" in the bathroom before a show. Thats all I really can remember though. Oh Wells.

One of my buddies is always trying to claim he's got OCD ("Also known as the O.C. Disorder" "Don't call it that"*)

He obsesses over stupid things like the posters on his wall and the arrangement of his DVDs, but he leaves his clothes all over, leftover food that hasn't been thrown away, empty bottles. It's like his tidiness doesn't extend to anything other than easy things within his immediate reach

And yeah things that people w/ OCD do sometimes are funny. That thing w/ your friend is hilarious. I have a very mild case of OCD (I think haha) and during Physics one day this girl noticed how during a lab when I changed .531 to .53 I had to erase the entire thing instead of just erasing the 1. My reasoning was that if I just took off the 1 then the answer wouldn't be centered in the box on my data table haha. I try to let shit like that go sometimes but it will continue to bother me until I fix it so I usually just give in haha.

i used to kinda be like this in school too. but as i got older i cant remeber it happening anymore.

the drummer for the band i used to run sound for was OCD, and every single piece of his 18 piece drum set had to be placed in the cases, and ultimately the trailer in just a certain way. i'll never forget the time we scheduled a gig for 7 one night and another one in another place at 2 the next day, so it would've been tight tearing down, loading up, sleeping, driving, and then doing it all in reverse, but it was doable. the 7 o'clock gig didn't start till 8:45 because the venue didn't have enough electricity for all our gear and we kept blowing the fuses. we eventually had to run half our shit with generators and extension cords. and then we find out we have to do soundcheck at 10:45, cause they'll be using the room up until the time we play, so basically we have to haul ass and not sleep but a couple hours. anyway, we had to have help tearing down, so steve couldn't break down his drums the way he wanted. he was nervous and didn't sleep that night. he eventually went out to the trailer at 3:30 in the morning to rearrange his cymbals. he was nervous until the time everything was set up just the way he wanted it the next morning.
