smoking and usage

whats your position on seroquel. i recently got out of jail.. and the psych in there said i should look in to seroquel for my impulsive temper.. should i look in to this for my short bipolar temper? the herb takes care of it mostly.. but when they ask me what im doing to take care of my disorder.. i cant say i smoke at LEAST 2 grams of cannabis a day..!

so is seroquel good or what

FUCK NO. IMO seroquil is the worst thing to be on. brother did it took 1 and drank a beer, his eyes were PINNED small as fuck and he kept mumbling he hated the feeling. but depending on if you ARE bipolar, wich is pretty rare, id see a doctor about that, it COULD help

seroquil fucked my uncle up, he was taking it normally, one day he wakes up and he cant move his neck. And his neck used to spasm uncontrollably and it would just go up and down constantly. Doctors says its one of those "rare" side effects, he was never informed about any side effect like that. It's also irreversible... My brother was prescribed this for "insomnia/anxiety" and i made him stop taking it after he saw our uncle like he is...

edit: my uncle has bipolar, my brother doesnt... also i dont think weed would help ur bipolar as much as u think.... u should look for another opinion(another doctor), and research any drug u take.

i also took seroquil once, think it was 50mg... all it will do is knock u out after giving u this insane tired feeling, not a good drug IMO. It is not for bipolar, they are treating insomnia caused by bipolar with something that is for insomnia. They should be treating bipolar, not the symptoms of it..

bipolar runs in my family... im diagnosed bipolar.. my aunt, who recently went of the deep end again.. and bought $500 worth of crack rock after being sober.. anyway, she takes seroquel for her bipolar.. shes an extreme bipolar

if weed helps you, i suggest you stick with weed. what gets me mad is all these sideeffects.. honestly, ive taken zoloft (weed helped depression a great deal) and it only made it a fucking bitch to have an orgasm. and in essence made me MORE mad and frustrated. haha. but neway, smoke that herb.

fuck man ive been on all those type things.. including zoloft.. i know what you mean.. ahahh... it helped me put off sme good impressions on girls i screwed though, cus if theyre one of those girls who it takes forever to make orgasm, then you can just romp her for as long as it takes...

Seroquel seems an odd choice for anger related problems to me, to be honest; if your general bipolar symptoms don't trouble you too much, and your cycling isn't too rapid I'd say it was a bit too heavy.

It is, of course, up to you, and if you feel you want to try it to make an informed decision, then you should. We're all different.

Either way, weed smoking shouldn't affect it, but you might want to cut down on it (if you do opt for the pills) during the first few weeks, so you can accurately judge the effects.

EDIT: Have you been offered counselling for your anger issues?

Oh boy do I know that feeling. I was taking celexa when I was younger and damn, I could go to town untill I went limp and no matter how hard I tried I could not have an orgasm to save my life.

i could orgasm... just took a LONG ass time. it was shitty. it did me no good at all

i took 2 once. not sure on the milligrams though. i just got really tired and before i passed out i couldnt talk. like i was on my cell and couldnt put words together if i had to..slept like a rock though

oh and i thought seroquel was given to people that tried to compete suicide? i could be wrong which is quit possiblly the case.

Pain pills work great for that. Take a couple and you can fuck for hours. Its great
