Mescaline, Peyote, San Pedro.

I recently got an intrest to try Mescaline. I've been exparamenting with cocaine for a short while, extacy once and have done mushrooms sevral times in the past. I've been a daily pot smoker for sevral years but have recently started to dislike some of the effects i get. I guess you could call it a burn out as thats all i seem to get when i smoke. This is really starting to dampen my social skills as i am allways burnt and never feel like communicating. The first few times i did mushrroms, it was unbelieveable, I saw things i didnt know were possible. My more recent shroom experiences have been less that exciting as they wernt the same shrooms and only gave me a body stone. So i tried some cocaine at a party last october. Wow, this seem'd to be allright. I was much more active in coversations and i could actually get some things off my chest with a few buddies that came along for the ride. Allthough cocaine makes me feel good, i can allready start to feel its adictive powers. I am a pretty strong minded and rather cheap to boot. I enjoy spending my money on tangable objects that i can see and touch and wont blow away in a stiff breeze. The cost of cocaine is what i think helps me avoid doing it more than 1 day a week. The price for what seems like such a mild feeling drug is rediculous. The coke has to stop. But i'll be left with this gap that'll need to be filled with somthing. I've done some checking and mescaline is non habit forming, euphoric, and a hallucinagen. Seems to be safe and worth checking out as indians have used it for thousands of years. It also turns out that owning one of the cactus' isnt illegal in canada. For thoes who dont know, the 3 main cactus' with high mescaline content are peyote, san pablo, and peruvian torch. Now apparently you can buy them from some nurseries. I've givin detailed instructions to a friend of mine to check out the local nursiery tomorrow and see if they carry any of the cactus'.

From what i've heard, i can expect a few things associated with mescaline. The first of wich is a dreadful taste, a euphoric feeling, altered thought perception, strong hallucinations, and a high that lasts 10-14 hours on average.

I'd like to know if any of the users here have tried mescaline and what thier feelings about the drug were before during and after usage. How was the experience, where and what time of day did you take it, and any other thoughts or comments you'd feel a first timer should be aware of.

I know people sway back and forth about its usage so i'd prefer to hear from people who have taken it as opposed to thoes who havent.

yeah ive heard mescaline is nice.....peruvian torch and san pedro u can buy online, its 100% legal. i know this place online that sells Peruvian Torch at a decent price, PM me if you want the site......but i hear the average dose is like 30-50 gs or something around that. I really wanna try it and order it from that site, but i'd have to watch my mail, and i dont want my parents finding it.

I made smoothies with a few friends. we took cuttings measuring 8" long and 3" in diameter, Dropped them in a food processor whole, with a cup of lemon juice and a few ice cubes. Chopped it real good and set in the freezer for a bit.

It gets real frothy so its best to stir the hell out of it.

Never had any problems with nausea, but AFAIK the best way to combat any nausea is to space your dose out over 15-30 mins. Take the first half and wait, then take the second half.

It dose taste god awful. But with enough lemon juice, it just tastes awful.

2 hours in and i'm "cursing the creep that burned me with some bad shit" when we decided to fire up a spliff. It turned out to be just the thing we needed to set the whole experience off.

The trip cant really be described, but ill do my best.

If you've ever had a mild (not weak... just mild) acid trip, it was like a STRONG one of those (if that makes sense). There was no sense as if we had too much. It wasnt scary. It wasnt intense. It was just amazing.

One last word of advice. When you trip, do yourself a favor and go OUTSIDE!!!! Find somewhere beautiful to just exist, be it with people or without (if its your first time, i'd recommend with).

i know mesc comes from peyote but finding mesc around here is alot harder than gettin peyote. i have never tried it but i would love to. shrooms and lsd are two of my favorite drugs.
i have never heard of san pedro what is that shit?

You can get it from Peruvian torch, and San Pedro which are ornamental cacti. The cuttings are cheap and easy to obtain from your local garden center, or online (google: bouncing bear). <--(not a competitor of gc really, but if its against the rules, my bad. LMK)

I would avoid starting from seed as it will take a hell of a lot longer to get the desired size for ingestion.

I had figured that starting from a seed would mean i'd have to wait a long time to try it. I had'nt even considered that an option. I am hoping that i'll be able to get a decent sized cactus (enough for 2 or more people) from nursery land. My buddy fell through and couldnt get there to see if they had it. It'll have to wait untill i can get there on saturday.

I'm trying to build up my mentallity about it so i'll be super siked for the trip.

I just saw this post and i thought i'd add in a few questions i had. Can you extract the cactus cuttings into a powder? And how many people would three , 6 inch , cuttings be for a full trip. Also how do mescaline visuals compare to acid?

I've done a bit of checking and you can make powders from grinding up dried material. There are also a few ways to extract the mescaline into what appears to look like crack rocks. Apparently the skin of the cactus contains the most mescaline.
