What song will you have played at your funeral?

I saw the "How do you want to die" thread and it gave me the idea for this.

Well, I recently tripped acid for the first time and listened to a lot of Pink Floyd and decided that at my funeral I'd want to have "Wish You Were Here" played.

I don't really remember why, but it really is a great song and I remember deciding that at some point during the night.

Anyway, What about ya'll?

I think I either I or someone else made a thread like this before, but aww hell, why not :P

I've got a few (I'm a musician, cut me some slack)

-All of Dark Side of the Moon (Yeah, there'll be time... I want my death to be a fuckin' party, with people gettin flat out drunk and high as hell... I don't need or want to be mourned. And what better album for stoners than DSotM? It's a religious artifact to me, actually... my bible... and Led Zep 4/Zoso are the "9 commandments")

-Either Freebird or Tuesdays Gone, or both, by Lynyrd Skynyrd

-If someone truely loves me and happens to also play guitar, I want them to learn the SRV version (of course the original Hendrix would make me just as happy) of Little Wing, and actually play it at my funeral. If I couldn't have any of the other options, all I'd want is Little Wing

I'm going to have my funeral in the basement of an abandonded old warehouse with dark red lighting to give it an eerie feel to it. Then I'm going to have my body chopped into several peices, disemboweled, and hung from the ceiling and walls. Then "I fall to pieces" by Patsy Cline is going to be playing at a slightly slower speed than normal.

I plan on putting it in my final will and testament to have them play it at my funeral. I guess I mean more like at the wake, when everyone is going up to pay their last respects or w/e..that's when I'd have it playing.

Not to rip off Graham Chapman, but I want "Look on the Bright Side of Life" preformed live, by an 80-something year old Eric Idle.

You must plan on dying at a young age.

I think it would be a cool idea to have my body put on strings, and have "I got no strings" to play while someone controls me and makes me do a little jig. Then at the end of the song all the strings come loose and I fall limply into the crowd of people.

Or maybe I can be hollowed out and stuffed with candy and used as a pinata as "The Mexican Hat Dance" plays. Of couse I'd need a sombrero on as well...

So many ideas and only one death, life is so unfair.

Okay, he'd probably be more like 100-something.

If Eric Idle isn't around, then I'll just get all attending my funeral to join in a rendition of it. I know more than a few musicians... I doubt any of them will last longer than I do, though.

Im thinking:
I walk the line - Johnny Cash
Fire & rain- James Taylor....But then again I've never been to a funeral where songs were played. Except for "Taps" at military funerals.

Eta Carina, the most energetic star in the nebula was one of the brightest stars in the sky in the 1830s, but then faded dramatically. Eta Carina might explode in a dramatic supernova within the next thousand years, and has even flared in brightness over just the past decade.
