Appreciation of my father...

I got stoned and I've been thinkin about my parents recently and thought about how much I love my father, though we rarely say it.

My father is an amazing man. He is my absolute compelete role model and would be honored if I became a man like he is. He does a 300 mile bike ride for cancer called the PMC over the course of 3 days across massachusetts. He is on his 11th yearand raises at least $3,500 dollars to the Jimmy Fund every year for cancer research. His mother died at age 44 from cancer and his father at age 64 from cancer as well.

I feel myself becoming like him however, we get along so well and have quite the same personality and sense of humor. I always sort of took him for granted but I couldnt ask for a better father. Over the years I've made many mistakes...but his advice helped me learn life lessons and build my character. I am 18 now and I am very happy with myself and my life, I think I owe most of this to my father. He has always known what to do in situations and offer such great advice. He was always there for me to pick me up when I fell.

He is such a nice friendly person who would give anyone the shirt right off his back. Sunday is my favorite day of the week because I get to go watch the Patriots with my father and tailgate with him. Just like he did with his father.

Oh how blessed am I...

Hmph, I'll have to whole-heartily disagree with this guy.

I think this kind of inspired reflection is what recreational cannabis use is all about.

It's really good that you can appreciate family and cherish what we all too often take for granted.

here's to Blaze_It_Up420's dad! Cheers!

I'm incredibly happy for you man. There's really nothing like a healthy father-son relationship.

it really is something special to share a happy and loving relationship with your family or father. Let him know somehow when the time is right that you really look up to him and appreciate what he does. I share the same kind of relationship with my father and hope to be half of what he is. He's taken the business ladder all the way up but if taking that extra step up meant sacrifising his morals in anyway he wouldn't do it. He taught me that you can be an executive without sacrifising your soul. When we moved to england they gave him a massive budget for a house/car. He immediately decreased that budget for himself and the future executives by 60% because he felt it incredibly unneccesary. But yeah enough ranting, he is the most level headed guy I know and respect him immensely. and yes we have toked together
