Anyone know much about oxycodone?

OK, so first of all I'm all about the taste and feel of straight up jane in my bowl... but I have these oxycodone time-release pills from when I got my wisdom teeth out (I didn't take any so I have quite a few). I was wondering what, if anything, would be the result of crushing the pill up (I know how to rub the time release off if necessary) and sprinkling it / mixing it with weed and smoking it. Can the active ingredient(s) in this specific medicine be released/absorbed through smoking? I see a lot of people talking about smoking weed and crushed vicodin or perc for instance (never tried it, I'm skeptical, I'd rather experiment with my own private stash of pills first...) so I was wondering is you can do the same with Oxycodone.
Thanks for any advice... and yes, I'm aware that weed is perfectly fine by itself and popping pills / harder drugs and such aren't necessary cause I'm totally all about that, go weed! I jus wanna test this, cause if anything I'll sell em then... thanks guys!

im pretty sure ur fine by smoking it, your just have to crush it until its a powder, and probably use a jet lighter, but why not just snort it so u can have the pure taste of weed and a nice heroin like buzz, i did w/ my cuz the morning after her wedding and my legs felt soooooooo good
so snort some, then toke, you wont feel the oxy for about 10 miutes but u will..

I got those too when i had toothaches.
First I didnt even notice, but then everytime i took one i'd go numb for the whole day lol. I took some, then my dad took some, and they were gone.

I have smoked hydrocodone and oxycodone with weed. This was in my younger foolish days where I was down for smoking anything, except meth, crack, ect. Anyway I wouldnt reccommed it. 1st it tastes like shit. 2nd the high wasnt all that great. 3rd Your lungs feel like shit afterwords. One time we took vicodin, kolopin, serequil, and xanax all at once and crushed it up ito a bag and then "shaked and baked" the weed in the bag. We the rolled it up into a joint and then put a line in the joint aswell. I was fucked up needless to say but I would never do it again. Its a very dirty high. Weed is a pure high, I felt like I was smoking crack or something. As yarostafari said, just stick with the weed. Nothing can go wrong with weed. You smoke oxycotins and shit might wrong. Im not trying to tell you what to do and its one of those situation where you have to learn for yourself and "try everything once", but comming from someone who has smoked alot of pills I wouldn't. Also, dont listen to these people telling you telling you to snort it, if youve never snorted anything before dont start. Its a bad thing to get into. Stick to Cannabis.

WOW I can not believe you people do not know anything AT ALL about pain killers. If you crush up opiates and smoke them it does VIRTUALLY NOTHING.
Oxycodone=Percocet/Oxycontin(2 biggest brands)
Hydrocodone=VICODIN, Lorcet, Lortab, Norco, Vicoprofen
Oxycodone 5mg is directly equal to 7.5mg of Hydrocodone... based on 0% tolerance to each drug. When you include tolerance it changes dramatically.

id recommend against it, its going to taste like crap, and any high you get other than the weed is going to be placebo if ive got my facts straight... dont quote me on that though.

if anything just take one of the pills normally. dont snort it, smoke it, or anything. plain old pill form will get you nice and loopy, without making you sick.
