I would personally find a topic I am interested in, then do keyword research on it to see what people are looking for, how many people are looking and how much competition there is. From there I would look for forums and article directories to get ideas for topics and generate a buzz for my planned product or offer. Once I have my idea in place I would create a Myspace Account and a Youtube Account for this new niche, and I would start to make videos to promote myself and build traffic. People come up with new and inventive ideas for the internet everyday its just thinkn em up, Im a programmer and I think the next internet frontier is virtual reality, where u can have a set of goggles that go oveer ur eyes and make it seem as if ur in another world (no hallucinogenics needed!!) porn sites are experimenting with it now only they have more than goggles that go over ur eyes (if ya know what I mean) there are ideas out there I just say this lasy made a site where moms sell there kids old toys like an e-bay type thing and she made mucho grande, i dunno just a thought

to start up a company with only $250 is kinda tough but i think if i had it up to me i would check into providing online storage for people but make it much more than storage. have it involve calenders musical interests and such so its an interactive site that you can set up your app. at as wells as use for social networking. this would be aimed at the professional world moreso than teens/young adults. let the calender part be private for each indiviual but also allow musical interests proffession movies and other ideas open for discussion

Hmm... this kinda goes hand in hand with an idea I came up with while I was high...

A website that allows you to tap into your phone, check missed calls, voicemails, text messages, etc... and maybe... you could text back.

Of course in time, it could be moved into a program that allows you to chat and such, which they already have, but the main thing that would destroy competition would be the fact you could use it as your phone.

Because I know PLENTY of time I have been fucked up to the point where I lose my phone and have no way of seeing all that shit until i see whichever friend has it the next day.

How about a company that has a vector illustration (like adobe illustrator) program that works directly off of a website. It could have a program in it that perfectly copies raster images into vector, can be saved, and then accessed from computer to computer with a password. It could also have a "collaboration" part set into it that would allow two people in two different places to work on the same graphics at the same time, with a chat function so they can communicate (via headset?). And it would have to save automatically incase something goes wrong. it would save both a copy on the websites server, and a copy on the users computer.

Sorry, ive been stuck in illustrator all day trying to trace this drawing my friend did for me and have had to switch computers three times... putting it on a flash drive to move gets very annoying... and im still only 1/2 way done... I am currently trying to look in to finding a low temperature shrink wrap machine and design wraps for bic lighters.

Because they would be printed on those wraps by printers it would be super cheap to buy in bulk and run names, graphics, have a forum where people could submit their designs and vote on them to run specials designs. It would create an awesome community of smokers.

Any message could be printed and wrapped on a bic. Possibly charging 3 dollars per for single lighter purchases and have a diminishing price as quantity rises.

Think of it, every has a bic and with all of the "flick your bic" ads going around past few months it seems to be able to take off in to something.

If a shrink-wrap type machine won't work you could use durable rectangle labels and just wrap them around the bic.

Though, if you are to go through with this idea I would definitely like to see a bit of stock in the company =D

i relly like this dudes idea i see myself doing thgis all the time cause i luve music and i like to know the lyrics of all the music i listen to, adn im always searchin and writin down songs that i hear and i never can figure out the name of the song or who sings it and it pisses me off im all for this idea
