smoking and usage

i'm sure there's people on here that go to classes. but i find i have a problem with actually going. i'm on the community campus now... i have a two hour break and i'm about to go blaze once my buddy gets out of his class. knowing i'm not going to my next class. i seem to repeat this every week.
i haven't been to two of my classes(out of three) for the past two weeks. i'll just meander around blazin, or blazed. now i know there has to be other people with this convienent problem.

Better than me. I haven't been to any classes this week so far. So far that's 6 for 6 hours of class missed. The only excuse I can create is that all of them are between 9am and noon and I get off at midnight and cant sleep until later and then sleep through class, but its also because I just plain rather stay up late smoking and drinking with friends than wake up on time for class.

Such is college life?

that was a problem 4 me in high school.

except we would always leave around 4th period to go smoke. it was always worse 4 me cuz thats when all my real classes started.

haha. yea i got my ID suspended so i can't drive. i get dropped off here. wonder around for a couple minutes, find someone with bud then peace. i always plan on comming back to... just rather take another blunt ride then sit in a class i'm really not learning anything in.
except next semester, when they tell me i have to retake a few classes. it's going to put a toll on me money wise. i'm actually thinking about taking a year off though, but i dont mind chillin here blazed... i either sit here or in the lobby watchin' TV waiting for people to get out of class hah. almost as if i'm home.

Missing classes is bad. Try to limit it to once a month. Take it from me, if you dont go to class, you're probably going to fail. I missed my 11am class today, but thats because i'm writing an 8 page paper for the 2pm class...You probably wont listen to me, but you dont want to get into the habit of missing class. It makes school so much harder than it needs to be.

If I know I should be able to make it to class, I go. I try to only skip classes on rare occasions because you always want to save an absence or two for a time when you really really want to skip.

Been to all my classes this week, but two out of three were cancelled yesterday, so YEAH! Only two classes today, and they're both pretty good.

I used to skip/sleep through class all the damn time. Still skip some now but only when I really want to or if its a total BS class, otherwise it just doesn't make alot of sense to not take advantage of something you're paying good money for.

yea i agree with the above post, in high school you're there by force, noone asked me if i wanted to be there and if they did i would have said hell no.

But if you're there paying good money, it only makes sense to at least get decent grades, if you can do that with missing classes, good good. If not probabaly should try to catch a few.

I'm sure for alot of you it's your parents money, if you were paying cash out of your own pocket it'd probabaly be alot different.

i've always snuck by at the last minute, like a buzzer beater at the end of the game...i will admit i've been close to fucking up a lot, but in the end i always come thru

That is the exact reason I made my schedule specifically with no breaks this year. Last year I had a 5 hour break and I would never go to my last class

I would definitely think of just having all of your classes in a row. Take it from me, I'm a second year freshman and now I'll be caught back up with my grade by the end of next year cuz now I have to take extra classes.

So go to school cuz only grades C and better transfer as I found out and paying for a year of college for nothing SUCKS, trust me.
