camera tutorial? for macro's

ive been wanting to take some good close up macro's of the various bud i get but i can never seem to find out how to work my camera and get those crispy clean photo's u guys take.. my camera is only 3.1 mp with 3x optical zoom and it has digital zoom but im not sure what magnification.. any help would be appreciated

Look for the flower, either on the main switch, on-camera buttons or in the menu
. Also, check your manual for 'Macro'.. Your camera will most likely have a macro setting. Sooner or later, with practice, you'll be able to take shots like this.

i know how to use the macro function but i always end up with blurry ass pictures.. how far away from the object ur taking a pic of do u hold ur camera? do you use zoom?

Well, shit man! you really have to try different lengths of focus.. Don't forget, your camera is not equipped with a $2,000 macro lens..
Try different lengths. Shoot from.. say.. one foot, if it's still blurry move a few inches back.. If it's not then see how much closer you can get. Also. Use good lighting. I mean, hold a fucking lamp over your subject, it will bring all the detail out.

well this is about the best i could do.. but your right.. i guess i am expecting a bit much from my $200 walmart camera :P
