I just wanna make some things clear... These verses are not condoning the usage of MJ, AND are more than likely not even talking about cannabis. I'm not arguing saying that God didn't mean for the plant to be used - I'm saying that He didn't mean for it to be smoked.

This is just God telling Adam and Eve that they can now eat animals. Before the fall they were to work the ground, and eat the fruits of this work (fruits, herbs, vegatables, etc.)... After the fall, it was now OK for them to use the animals as food. Notice how it says "...that liveth shall be meat for you; <b>even as</b> the green herb." It is a comparative statement.

Same with this one... This sounds more like it's describing a time of year (the harvest maybe?) I dunno... I'll check this one out, too...

Oh, and weedzilla... You might be thinkin about the Genesis verse where it talks about how God brought forth all the herb bearing seeds for meat and whatnot??? Or did someone already post the one you were lookin for?

If God exists I doubt he gives a fuck wether you smoke or not, in the grand scheme of things, weed isn't even worth mention.

Besides, isn't God supposed to have a grand plan? You can't exactly have a religion supporting an omnisentient, omnipotent being hold water if you're going around saying things he didn't intend to happen are happening.

Ok, lets assume the Bible is correct - just for agrument's sake... In the Bible, you can tell what is meant, and what is not meant, by using the surrounding Scriptures - also known as keeping it in context.

When God says not to defile your body (or intentionally harm your body), it becomes clear that things aren't meant to be smoked - as smoking damages your lungs. So yeah... I can claim that God didn't intend for us to smoke anything when His Word says that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit, and not to defile them. Soooo

Which if the Tree of life is the Hemp plant then I don't think God has a problem with us smoking it. This plant is so amazing it can support life from the plant. You can make shelter, clothing, food, medicine, rope, almost everything you need to survive can be made from the hemp plant. There are a bunch of other verses I can talk about but there is to much to type up now
