i always liked ps way more then xbox so im gonna have to say ps3 havent really looked into either much...dont have alot of time anymore to play videogames

Im gonna stick with the 360. Im likin the games they got and what there comin out with, plus hardware spec wise is slightly better. But on other aspects PS3 is seeming to try and jump the gun on some of its stuff.

We'll have to see but i just may pick up a 360 tomorrow

Im going to keep my 360. The games comming out these days for it are nothing short of spectacular. I cannot justify spending that much money on a ps3 for a minute increase in detail and performance. The hd-dvd aspect does not impress me at all, if I wanted to pay that amount of money for the hd-dvd aspect I would just go buy an hd-dvd player, consoles are designed for gaming not viewing movies in high resolution. Plus to me it seems that the ps3 just doesnt have good personality, to me it's like all of the ps3's aspects were designed to outdue the 360. If the situation were different and I had never purchased the 360 I might have chosen the ps3 but for now it remains to be seen if the ps3 is going to live up to all of the hype. Time will tell, but for now ill stick with my 360.

On a side note, why do people feel the need to compare systems with such bias towards one or the other. They both have strenths and weaknesess why cant we just pick one and be happy with our decision.

I'm giving up on consoles and concentrating on the tried and true PC.

From what I've read, the only thing that PS3 has that beats X-Box is Blue Ray. Personally, I'd go for the Wii, but I've always been a Nintendo fan.

Nope, I can't bring myself to shell out $500+ for a game system, now-a-days it seems like you have to take a loan from the bank to just pay for one.

I'll let my PC do that job. The GPU alone was $300 [EVGA 7900GT Overclocked].

I've always wondered why people want to get it the day it comes out. First of all the price is fucking obnoxious, just wait a month and it'll drop $100. Secondly, all the first generations of anything have bugs and glitches, wait for the next line to come out and it will be less likey to bug up.

Never was a big fan on Nintendo, didn't like the games that came out with the Cube and what not.

I have an amazing PC i use for gaming, and i can't get myself to spend that much on PS3 where the only thing they have better than the 360 is Blu Ray and constant "Connectivity". I have a couple games and thats it, i dont like spending lots of money on this stuff when i am going back and forth between the two. I feel i dont get my moneys worth

Game selection wise PS3 will have many more than 360 will, but i like the 360 games better and am waiting for Halo 3. Buying Gears of War too that game i heard is very good.


And yeah it is all preference. You've got a sick fucking system either way and i admit the PS3 looks and sounds fuckin awesome
