Munchie/Grocery Shopping!!!

I have a bunch of money to go grocery shopping... I can pretty much get anything I want (within reason.) But I'm really baked and can't seem to make a good list. And I don't want to go without a list because I'll end up being there for hours.

You guys gotta help me come up with the ultimate fridge/pantry stock of food.

I'm thinking stuff to make sandwiches, some microwave food, salty snacks and drinks.

I recently discovered rice is VERY cheap, filling, and can last forever. You can mix just about anything with it also, usually i just buy lemon juice and pour on it.

Another filling meal -
Ingredients:
Sourdough bread, cheese that can be melted, and broccoli:

Start the broccoli on low, cooking it in butter, salt, and pepper. Once it has come to a simmer, add milk/half n half, and cheese. Mix this until its nice and thick, you can add flour if it needs to be thicker, or milk for thinner....
Cut out the top of the sourdough bread almost like you would a pumpkin (at an angle), and pour the mixture you cooked inside of it. You can use the portion you cut out to dip into the mix. Its called a sourdough bread bowl. VERY filling and cheap/easy to make. You can do this with just about any soup/stew, but its better if you make the mix from scratch.

Drinks:
Im a huge fan of drinks, im always drinking on something.
Im not sure where you live and what you have available to you, however usually tea is very cheap.

Anony got it right man, rice.

It'll fill you the hell up, and it's so cheap. Make it and then put parmesian cheese all over it

Get some Trix and or Coco Puff cereal (and some milk), a bag of your favourite potato chips, a two liter of your favourite pop, and a whole bunch of twinkies.

A stoner meal of champions.

Awesome, thanks for the great recipe. Sounds delicious.

I know there's a lot of threads like this... but humour me, it is the general section.

--------------

So far I got:

bread
ham
roast beef
turkey
bacon
swiss cheese
provolone
tomato's
lettuce
mayo

tortilla
nacho cheese
salsa (mild/medium/hot)
cheetos
ruffles
ranch/sour cream dip

shit loads of different ice tea... variety is the spice of life.

tombstone pizza's
red baron french bread
taquito's
burrito's

(plus what you guys have posted)

that's all i can think of for now. For some reason I still feel like I'm missing something important.

haha, i love food shopping stoned!

i always make sure to get a couple tubes of the pilsburry cinnabons. throw em in the oven before you spark up, and by the time your baked, so are they! haha. its how i start every tuesday.

rice is a good one, im a big pasta fan too. angel hair though, not the thick stuff.

its always good to have a drink variety, only having one or two things in the fridge SUCKS.

funions.

MARSHMELLOW PINWHEELS!

chunky soups, chunky chilli is pretty good too.

try a box of the microwavable frenchfries. they actually get pretty crispy and are so good stoned.

TOQUITOS!

tyson grilled chicken breasts. throw one on a foreman to heat it up, soak it in buffalo wing sauce (franks) and slap a piece of provolone cheeze on top. so good with a little mayo on white bread.

lunch meats, always good. feeling adventerous? throw that sandwich on the foreman and let it get hot and toasty, so much better!

sorry, ill stop now. i havent eaten all day and i have no food

Haha... hell yeah! Half Baked! That guy used to be my hero... then someone told me he doesn't even smoke the cheeba in real life. And that totally killed part of me. Total idol though.

I'm definitely getting frozen buffalo wings, that's just BOMB. With some ranch and shit. Oh yeaaah...

So basically I'm gonna have enough stuff to make:

Subs
Pizzas
French Bread
Hot Pockets
Quesadilla's
Burrito's
Taquito's
BLT's!!!
Buffalo Wings
Spaghetti

anytime I want to.

That's my goal... I'd say it's enough variety to keep my munchies at bay this week.

ive become a huge fan of the adobo brand instant rice.
they make seasoned red beans (or black) with rice.
makes a huge heaping bowl of rice, with a little pepper and tons of hot sauce, its really filling an delicious, and has plenty of flavor.
also super easy to make.

i agree with just about everything posted above, as far as im concerned a huge sandwich is the most rewarding thing to make and eat when ripped.

also, toast with some butter and cinnamon sugar on top, delicious.

I'll definitely be making all kinds of rice combinations... I'm thinking about a HUGE combination plate with everything on it. That's what I'm making myself for tomorrow... along with a huge blunt. To kick in the weekend, ya know. I guarantee you 80% of this food will be gone by monday.
