Busted at school, need advice

Last week me and 2 of my buddies rolled up a 2 gram blunt of headie, we all wrote notes to excuse ourselves for being late and such. So we start smokin and we finished the blunt high as shit then one of my friends go to school and he gets in no problem. Then me and my other friend go into school and we pass one of the teacher and she asks if we have passes so we show them to her. So we go to the office and I hear teachers talking in the office and stuff. The assistant prinicpal pulls me in and tells me that the teacher says that I smell like I've ben smoking. I start denying saying i dont smoke and shit. Then they start asking me all these questions like why im late and stuff i had a cold actually too. Also she started to test me if i was high like having me walk in startight line im like wtf? and she brought the nurse to do an influence test so im pretty confident that i passed but they tell me that i fail So they start searching me and i tell them i have nothing on me [my weed was in my shoe underneath the sole] and they find it bam they call the school cop in and tell me that im arrested and my mom comes in so i am released to her. Now I'm temporalry suspended from school for 10 days and i have to go to this meeting in 2 days for my reinstatement to school and on top of that im being charged with posseion [i had about .7 on me] im so worried idk wtf will happen to me i think they might put me on probation. [i had no previous drug offesese]

I think im going to get expelled but there is a chcance i can go back to school after the meeting but im not sure what do you guys think i should say for them to let me of?

Also as for the possesion what do u ugys think the court will say? im under 18

We don't like underage ppl around here.

On top of that, You are young and will get a second chance, most likly they will not kick you out depending on age, but it will be hard work to regain trust in your skool. You fucked with your education now you have to take it in the ass, so remember this event the next time you go smoke a blunt during skool and cut classes.

Life goes on it is not the end of the world you still got tons of years ahead of you. This seems big now, but will blow over in time. I had something similar happen to me when I was in 9th grade and it went away eventually. Because of the event I am a more informed person I know my rights, I feel stronger, and I feel less stupid. I look back and laugh now about how dumb I was. Yes it is bad you got caught, but you will get a second chance and there are MUCH worse things than getting caught smokeing.

They got probable cause. Smell, late for class, and possible failure of soberty test (he didn't say), and he talked to much to give them suspision.

What he should have done is STOP talking once it looked like it was going to get out of hand.

1. Talk don't deny or lie. Twist the truth.
2. Starts Getting out of hand STOP talking
3. Don't consent to a search (you shouldn't have said anything to alert them)
4. They can't get you to talk it is your body SO DON'T
5. Don't consent to search again if they bring police then call a lawyer

Yeah dude, no sympathy here, you skipped school to get high, it is your own fault. Couldn't you have just waited untill school was over? Don't fuck with your education, when you step out into the real world you will quickly discover how immensly important your education really is. If you cannot go a whole school day without getting high, you need to quit and save the drugs for college.

And just for future reference, if you had not consented to them searching you, you would not be in this situation. Other than that, I feel for ya man, just be carefull in your future endeavors with marijuana.

that's not true at all.

maybe at a public school, but i know for a fact that at my private high school, i had no rights what-so-ever.

they reserve the right to search you, your car, your locker, hold you against your will, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. and theres not a god damn thing you can do about it until you're a senior and 18 years old.

I apologize GC members I know I'm underage but i just needed some advice because I'm young and stupid and I don't know where else to go .

What do you guys think the court will sentence me for possesion?

I know about school that's why im so upset and depressed because im taken out of school I'm a A, B student and this suspension is really making me worried about my future, because school is very important for me.

If you haven't realized it yet, it's not smart to smoke in school, and it's over-rated to smoke during school imo, always too paranoid, atleast i am. If you really need to atleast do it before school, but all that aside.

In school they can't make you do anything you don't want to, once the cops come in though then request a lawyer. School can't do anything to you. Put yourself in their position for a second. Some kid won't take off his shoe, so you gonna suspend him for that? I doubt it, and you wouldn't be suffering from possession charges. Anyway, lesson learned, such one better elarned sooner than later, so feel fortunate.

good ole high school, gotta love it. It seems like every week i would hear a story liek this. there was several things you could have done. Personally i would have ran straight out if i had bud on me(which i was neevr dumb enough to carry it on me). Your principal and teahcers are not going to chase you, throw the bud away somewhere and causelly walk back and take a few day suspension.

As for now your going to be on probation for mabye 6 months and get D tested. no big deal
