Did anyone else ever read the 'how MJ works' guide on GC?

Noticed that today under the "Learn More About" section. I doubt I'm the only one, but has anyone else actually read it?

I found it to be quite interesting. If you havn't, check it out... it's like our favourite City laying down the law.

I liked is part especially;

* Cigarette - Also called a joint, dried marijuana buds are rolled into a cigarette. Approximately 10 percent to 20 percent of the THC is transferred into the body when smoking a joint.
* Cigar - Some users slice open a cigar, remove the tobacco and refill it with marijuana. The marijuana-filled cigar is often called a blunt.
* Pipe - You've probably seen people smoke pipes of tobacco, but these pipes are also used to smoke marijuana. About 40 percent to 50 percent of the THC is transferred into the body when using a pipe.
* Bong - These are water pipes that typically have a long tube rising out of a bowl-shaped base. Water pipes trap the smoke until it's inhaled, raising the amount of THC taken in.
* Food - Marijuana is sometimes baked into foods, such as brownies, or brewed as tea.


I was surprised that it actually gave estimates as to how much THC actually makes it in to your body of the total THC vaporized, for different methods of smoking. And it sounds right to me. I'm gonna have to show that to all my bro's who say nothing gets you higher than a joint, just because it goes in so directly. I suppose, though I always figured it anyway, it kind of provides a very reasonable answer to that debate about bongs wasting THC. Sure, lets hypathetically say that bongwater DOES trap some of the THC in it. But it must be taken in to account, that the bong is least likely to just waste smoke in general, since it's all going in to that tube. In short, least chance of the smoke 'escaping.'

Its pretty interesting actually..its weird, my bro has been tokin for 6 years, and within the past 2 months, everytime hes been tokin, he gets panic attacks..he was actually prescribed Lorazepam (sp?) for his issues..

He's truly a loose cannon in the head ha! Luckily hes my bro
