Here's the deal, I need to make some money. Why, you ask? Well there's a little building down by I-10 that would make a delightful little headshop. I have no money to start my own business like that so I've decided I'm going to start selling tshirts. A guy named Stu Helm (HEADS magazine, Caveman Comix) is designing 6 tees for me. The only problem is I don't know what I want. I need shirts that will appeal to everyone, dudes. Can you guys throw some ideas my way?

The only ideas I've had so far deal with stoners. The first one has a family of hillbillys toking and harvesting shrooms with my catch phrase on it "I took a trip and never left the farm." and the otherone has a Confederate soldier passing the bong with a black Union Soldier but the rebel looks like Jerry Garcia and the yank looks like Jimmi Hendrix.

I print T-shirts in my garage for extra cash. Your best bet would be to buy/borrow a printing machine (or whatever theyre called, I have a picture of mine but I cant upload it atm), and take orders. I usually print for Little League teams, Marching bands, whatever. It will cost you some money to get started though.

Another good thing about this is that printed shirts and hats are like currency to small businesses. Whenever my car gets fucked up, I take it to a locally owned repair shop and offer them a bunch of hats with the name of the company on it if they fix my car. They're usually delighted to take the offer.

I'm not that great with the Gimp, but with enough time I can usually push out something decent enough. If I have some spare time later today maybe I'll try to bang up some ideas for ya. If you can find out how they'll be printed and let me know if you need vector files for them, I can do those too.

I'll be using cafe press to print the shirts. I think they use .png files.
