I was thinking about it a while today and I came up with a few things...

If you start to feel like things are getting to intense just talk to some one. It will sort of snap your brain back to reality for a fraction of a seccond. Which can be enough to get a grip of what is going on.

Another thing to remember is that you cant really stop the visuals at all until they stop on there own. What you can do though is move to an area with less stuff in it so the visuals will mellow out a bit.

If you are going to trip in a place that is in the wilderness remember that the outdoors can be alot to take in while your tripping. So take is slowely if you go outside and make sure you have a mellower place to escape to.

You should also probably have your sitter watch your valuables or just put them in a spot were you will remember them. On my shroom hike last night with three other people tripping, together we lost 2 pairs of headphones, 40 dollars, a jacket, all of our lighters and a pack of papers.

Most of all just have a good time! if things start to go bad just remember that its all in your head. Just slap a smile on your face and just keep thinking this is fun and it most likely will be.

yo guys thanks a TON for all your advice. glad to know the city can help me out with things other than weed. i owe you guys one!! if anyone has anything else to add then by all means do...you guys have been extremely helpful!! thank you EVERYONE!!!!

i just recomended oj for the vitamin c. vit c helps kick in the trip faster

yeah demonballer is right about having your sitter watch your valuables i lost my wallet the night i did shrooms but i found it the next morning in the dishwasher

mmm shrooms you'll have fun. A half eighth will be enough for a light trip, and if it's your first time you'll have a good time. This summer once I ate 5 grams of great shrooms and ate two weed brownies which each had close to a half gram of dank in em. Now that was intense. Amazing time.

do it with someone and at your house. you will have so much fun. Just get an eighth of the mushness and split it with a friend. a fun thing to do is turn all the lights off and just sit in the dark and see things. drink orange juice to make the intensity higher.

this powder drink stuff called emergen-c works great too for that extra vitamin c boost. Or you an take some vitamin c pills. And eat a grapefriut or two, or just drink alot of grape friut juice. I just kind of researched it and I guess there is something in grapefruit that can increase the effects of your trip by 3. That is probably why there are so many grapefruits in the movie fear and loathing

Good movies must be readily available e.i... Fear and Loathing, SLC Punk and any cartoon that isn't to intense. Also keep your cool, people wont know your trippin until you say, "I'm trippin!". Eat an orange like others have said... or a grapefruit. LOL. The reason that there were lots of grapefruit in fear and loathing is they are the producers(i forget his name right now) favorite fruit. At least that is what i have been told. Ya gotta love Psylocibyn(sp?).
