I was thinking about it a while today and I came up with a few things...
If you start to feel like things are getting to intense just talk to some one. It will sort of snap your brain back to reality for a fraction of a seccond. Which can be enough to get a grip of what is going on.
Another thing to remember is that you cant really stop the visuals at all until they stop on there own. What you can do though is move to an area with less stuff in it so the visuals will mellow out a bit.
If you are going to trip in a place that is in the wilderness remember that the outdoors can be alot to take in while your tripping. So take is slowely if you go outside and make sure you have a mellower place to escape to.
You should also probably have your sitter watch your valuables or just put them in a spot were you will remember them. On my shroom hike last night with three other people tripping, together we lost 2 pairs of headphones, 40 dollars, a jacket, all of our lighters and a pack of papers.
Most of all just have a good time! if things start to go bad just remember that its all in your head. Just slap a smile on your face and just keep thinking this is fun and it most likely will be.
