Shroom Help

Hey Guys,

I know this is a weed forum, but you guys have been knowledgeable in the past and I trust you enough to ask your help on this (plus I don't quite know who else to ask - if you have a better idea of someone who would know about this, let me know.)

I just bought an eighth of mushrooms. I'm planning on doing it tomorrow with a friend, so I need quick advice: I don't quite know how much to take, and I know it's dangerous, so I don't want to take too much or too little.

My friend who has done it a few times said to do no more than half an eighth, otherwise it would just be too much.

look like a early harvested PF to me, i would of waited for the veil to break. have you ever done shrooms? you wouldnt dive into a pool not knowing how to swim, now would you?

Well, it's an eighth split between two people. Still alright?

What do you recommend?

What is your prefered means of ingestion?

if you want a good trip you should do an eighth each, not an eighth split between you

I like to just munch on them... It tastes kinda gross at fisrt, but it gets alright. You can also grind shrooms into powder, let sit in a shot glass full of lemon juice for 15 minutes. Then drink it down, but it's a hard tripp that hits you fast. Hope that helps, Happy tripping!

Ok Man,
I hope you get this in time because I have some info that will really help. First off, dont let anyone call you a pussy for not doing a shit ton of mushrooms your first time. Thats fucked up and that can ruin the entire experience for you for life. That being said, lets get on to the important shit. I am a very experienced shroomer so I know my shit.
Since it is you first time, you want to start by eating about 3/4 of your 8th. You are going to want to let that settle in. If you dont feel that you are tripping hard enough, finish off the shrooms. You want to eat your way up to your trip. You dont want to take it all at once and then realize that you are tripping much harder than you want to be.
There are several methods for taking shrooms. Personally, I put the mushrooms in my mouth, bite off the end of the stem, and suck on them for a couple minutes. Although it tastes disgusting, it draws out the psilocybin much more and will make me trip harder. Another method is to cut up your shrooms and make hot chocolate with them. It tastes much better but I tend to not trip nearly as hard. Thirdly, you could just straight eat them which is what I would recommend for a first timer. Now, on to some effects.
Eating mushrooms will make your stomache feel slightly uneasy as you enter your trip. To counter balace this, you want to eat a light meal about an hour before you take the mushrooms. You dont want to be full but you dont want to be on an empty stomache. Another thing that counteracts this is smoking a bowl of weed but you may not want to do this as it makes you trip much harder (see below).
Trip enhancers. If you only have an 8th to split between two people, I have a couple suggestions. There are two primary things that enhance a trip. Vitamin C and cannabis. Eat an 8th, and as you are tripping, eat vitamin C pills or drink orange juice. This will enhance your trip unbelievably. Smoking a bowl will also enhance your trip. If you are doing an 8th by yourself, I would reconsider doing either of these enhancers your first time. To fully understand mushrooms you should know what effects it will have on you totally unaided.
You will probably trip for between 4 and 6 hours. During which time you will experience a lot of very cool visuals. My advice is to watch animated movies with bright colors and to play with lights like blacklights and such. Basically anything bright will totally fascinate you. LMAO that reminds me of a story. God now I forget where I heard it, either here or on the Lazlow show. Where some guy went to the grocerry store and bought like 3 bags of shrooms for some party. And he brought 'em back, and the people were like, they better taste delicious because we ain't gonna be tripping.

Man, the first time I did shrooms I thought I got ripped off and got half of what I paid for ... I paid for a half ounce and thought I only got a quarter ... so me and my cousin ate them all ... turns out that it really was a half in the end, so I tripped pretty hard ... it was awesome though.

yeah. ive heard about shroom picking but where exactly can they be picked from? and are they just about as strong just picked than like bought through a good shroom dealer??
