Anyone else love dark chocolate?


This is the kind I bought this morning. I am a huge fan of dark chocolate. I really can't stand anything less than 45% cocoa solids. But this is the first time I have tried 70%. Usually I buy Hershey's Extra Dark 60% because it's the best of what I can almost always find in candy stores in my area.

I found a store that sells the Lindt Excellence 70% so I bought a bar this morning. And it's pretty good. It has a fruity taste to it but it takes a while for it to melt in your mouth. But I think I might have to get used to it being so bitter. Like I said, I do like it, but I still think I like Hershey's Extra Dark better. For now anyway. I've noticed as I get older the darker I like my chocolate. My favorite when I was a teenager was only 45%.

Lindt do an 85% as well, perfect for grating on a Lavazza capuccino

Green & Blacks do a nice dark one with bitter cherries in it..... mmmmmmmmmm

I saw the Lindt 85% on some websites. I don't think any stores in my area sell it. I'll have to actually order some online one day I wish Hershey would make a 70% or 85%. I love the consistency of Hershey chocolate. It always melts so nicely.

Hah. I didn't even know they measured chocolate in percentages.

Dark chocolate's good. My mom always reads in her magazines that it's good for your heart....in moderation of course. But I think it's like the healthiest chocolate.

Aside from dark chocolate bars, I'm not really either. I can't stand chocolate ice cream or chocolate cake. I like brownies, though. Probably because they're made with baking chocolate.

yea i love dark chocolate... i definetly prefer dark chocolate just becuz i can never eay alot of it just a few squares and i m content. milk chocolate is alil to sweet but i can eat more of it. But dark chocolate by far is so much nicer

Dark chocolate with mint mousse in it is one of my personal favourites.

I went to this huge Cholate shop in Berlin, and they had mountains of chocolate. It was nuts, they had statues and carvings all made out of chocolate.
