Here's an effed up though that occurs to me sometimes:
How do you define colour? What I mean by this is; the background to this page is green, yes? I Know it's green, you know it is green....but how do you know that the colour you see and the colour I see are the same thing? We only apply names to things like colours as we learn, so who can say that, although we use the same word for it, we are seeing the same colour? Perhaps this may go some way to explaining colour blindness......

I've thought about this before, too. Mostly it stemmed from wondering if color blind people could still tell colors apart by the different shades of grey. I don't think they could, though. I'm sure there are a bunch of colors that look exactly the same in greyscale.

Basically, the only way to determine what a color's characteristics are, is determining its wavelength. But that doesn't say that green for me is green for you, you may see the same wavelength, but a different color, say red. I personally do not know how to prove it is the same SEEN color, but which WAVELENGTH color will definitely be the same.

Another question:
Why did the USA vote Bush? (Not aiming at people who didn't, but the fact that he got the most votes. I'm not saying everyone voted for him)
