wow. just wow. thanks for sharing your experience with us. *knock on wood* i have never had a bad trip. you're a damn good person for dealing with him that long. i would have dropped him off at a corner and left. is this guy still your friend?

see, something's telling me this guy has some mental issues to work through. he should never, ever do shrooms (or any drug for that matter) again. he obvoiusly can't handle it. i think it's important to kind of screen the people you do shrooms with because they're definitely NOT for people with psychological problems.

i hope this doesn't ruin shrooms for you forever. don't feel silly because you've been crying uncontrollably. you have every reason to - you had a close encounter with death, and that would make me cry, too.

nothins worse than havin someone flipout durin a trip.. a few weeks ago, i tripped with with a friend who was doin shrooms their first time. I took 5 hits of acid and he ate an 8th. all went well for 20 minutes or so (for him) then he started getting antsy and saying he diddnt like it. I told him to just relax and go with it (hed done acid before) but it just got worse and worse from there.. I also started to trip. he spent most of the night lying in bed, jumping up and yelling jibberish for a few seconds before lying back down. At one point he stood up, got naked and hid under his desk.. over the night he basically trashed the room we were in, spilled some nasty bong water all over and burned his hand pretty badly with a cigarette (at one point he became coherent so i offered him one), which he smoked about half of before crumpleing it up in his hand and trying to put it back in the pack. I just stayed with him to keep him from trashing the house and smoked atleast a half o by myself to stay occupied

sorry this is a long post but i can totally relate to what you went through

damn, i'm sorry you had to go through all that shit. i think a whole 8th is way too much for a first mushroom trip, even though he did acid before. and what's up with people having bad trips and getting naked? lol

i dunno haha thats what made me remember my experiance. Ive only done shrooms once and figured if i was gonna do it, ide do it right so i ate 4 gs (i did have LOTS of acid experiance prior to this though)

He paid for the damage he did to you/your house, right? And i mean it wasn't like he did all this stuff because he wanted to, he was just tripping balls and he is/was your friend.

theres plenty of people that trip and yet dont destory your house, break your shit, throw your furniture, vandalize a store, run over your friend, steal your car, almost get you arrested, wake up your neighbors, fight you, and almost get your killed. lol i think it was plenty appropriate and extremely nice of him to just take the money and stop hanging out with the guy, i woulda been pissed the fuck off!
