Car for 3 grand 77 chevy nova..buy it or no, some pics

i just deleted my whoe thread, gotta start over. was cruisin by naborhood after droppin a kid off saw this car only 3 grand. have spare cash should i get it or no? would a chevvy have good resale because my friends think they dont. price is 3 thousand.. i could get it and sell my car and make it ill.. so whats gc think

it really depends, i didnt get to read anything except 1 sec, but basically, since it is kinda a "classic" but its not a very good looking car, in my opioin, i wouldnt pay 3 grand for it unless the engine had less than 80,000 miles on it and there is 0 rust on the car. i mean NONE, or a restored or a crate engine was added, if u have more money to add to it, i would put a new crate motor in it lol. just an opinion with no facts to know yet lol.

Unless you have the technical know-how of how to repair older cars like that, then your best off not buying it.

Those cars sometimes new ALOT of work and getting it done professional will cost you tens of thousands of dollars.

got around 90 thousand it for miles but ya thats why im thinking about not doing it but if i bring it to the mechanic and they say its in pretty good shape then i might..

yea, id buy that car depending on what the engine bay looks like. it is in great shape for 3 grand. and since its in ohio, if you gotta go pick it up, misewell come to cinci and toke with me and tokin haha. but yes, the car does look like its in good shape.

what kind of tranny? 4 on the floor? 3 on the tree?

havent really talked ot the owner just the wife but im going to talk to them when tey come back but yo it just has a ohio plate its in MA haha i would though yo

KSR, in 10 years that car will be considered a classic and the price will go from 3 grand to 10 grand in that condition, if he takes it and makes it perfect can sell it for 15000 prolly. i think its a good deal, even with 90,000 miles on it.



if you think about it, 90,000 is nothing, i got my neon at 110,000 and its at 250,000 now and only thing wrong with it is the tranny is slipping

you cant go by number alone.its not possible with something as complicated as an engine
