Question July 1st, too late to plant?

Hi everyone, I'll be germinating seeds on July 1st and soon after transplanting them to my outdoor plot. Is this too late to have a harvest in August/September? I'm not too concerned with yield; I'd be happy if they flowered. Thanks.

From what I've gathered you only need 3 months to go from seed to flower on average, though outdoors seems to be a bit longer . . . I don't know, try it man, if it isn't mature enough to flower by then, then bollocks, right?

Yes, it really is getting too late now to start an outdoor grow.

There seems to be a lot of people that want to start late, I think the best time to plant is before Good Friday. My plants have been up out of the ground since a week after Good Friday and they are almost 3foot tall and they are bushing out really good since I tied them down.

You could try it but I would put them in pots that are big enough to finish them out til harvest incase you have to bring them into a controled enviroment if the weather turns bad.

hey fellas. i planted on like june 12 or so, and they are growing good. i have heard that if u get them in before like late june they will grow and you could get a good yeild - if you treat them correctly. i say yes plant them, they will have to put out something you know? they might be small but you will get something, try tieing them down and things to increase the growth a lil maybe, but i would try, but it has to be extremely soon

i started most my plants around middle to late of may, but the bad weather in the NE killed most of them and i wasn't prepared to battle off so many slugs. I started with about 20 seedlings and out of that about 6 made it big enough until they could be transplanted in the ground. Now out of that six one just dissappeared looks like a small animal ate it or something dug it up or something but its just not there. Well now out of the 5 there is two of them dont look like they're going to make it. Im crossing my fingers but im starting a few more seeds now and just going to try my like germinating them in between paper towels and planting them straight into the ground and skipping the party cups this time. Im hoping to plant them this tuesday I know they wont be as big as the others ive planted but im jus getting worried that the two are going to die and i want to try and end up with some bud. The ones i have out now are about 8" inches, and maybe only a month old i expect those to get to 4-5 ft tall and the ones im starting now about 3-3.5. I wish everybody good luck with their grows and for those living in the NE i wouldnt worry about the rain killing your plants, but the attack of slugs after the rain succeeds. Lots of rain brings out lots of slugs, and eeeek nothing can be more devastating to a crop of seedlings than slugs.

If its been growing for 3 months and hasn't flowered or grown that much, you may want to try forcing it to flower.

Just force it into 12/12 and it will flower, won't get alot of bud, but its proboly mature enough to flower.
