Question Growing Questions Please respond !!

What can you do if the plants are growing up but the side of the plants are slow to grow. Do I need to fert them more? One plant is doing good. Its bushy and smells wonderful. But the other 6 are just got small sprouts they are just growing slowly. When are they suppose to begin flowering. Is that when I up the P. part of the fert to force it into flowering. I want to wait and see if the other plants are going to pick up. They'll probably start growing like weeds just because I asked these questions.

Thanks in advance for all your input.

They will begin to flower when they detect the days are getting shorter. Early August in my area. The days start getting shorter on Thursday.

During flowering you should increase the amount of potassium, K, more of that is needed when a plant is fruiting or flowering.

A fert for fruiting tomatoes will be higher in K.

No. A fert with all 3 elements about the same is good for vegging. One with K being a bit higher than the others is best for flowering.
