Third Node

Well I was wondering a question about a term I hear alot when a Plant is ready to transplant...When the term third node comes up does the little round leaves that you first get when the seed sprouts count as one node. If so do I only have to wait for two more sets of leaves, meaning two leaves them selves. Or should I just play it safe and wait for three more sets of leaves to show up. Thanks if you can help!

a plant is ready to transplant when its roots are ALMOST as big as the container. so it depends on how big the continer is. but, if someone told you 3rd node, then yes, the clover leaves count as a node

I would wait to transplant until after you have sex them. Then transplant only the females into their own containers
.

Well if there is leaf mass or anything growing I think it can only come from a node, but for transplant purposes I personally wouldn't count that. I'd wait for a few sets of true leaves before transplantation, but don't wait until sexing because that will take too long.

the roots take up about the same amount of space as the plant does above ground so when the plant mass is spread out the size of the container then its time to transplant
