forcing buds

i got a plant thats about 2 months old, im hoping to harvest it 2 months, just so i can take it to college. i know, thats only 4 months total, but i just want weed. it doesnt have to be high quality or anything, i just want it. so how can i get an outdoor plant to bud and be harvestable in the next 2 months? no idea of strain, and its about 16 inches tall.

you cant outside. the sun controls budding, when the days get shorter the plant buds.

you could take the plant indoors and force it to flower under lights but i have never brought an outdoor plant inside. i would ask about in the indoor growing forum to see if anyone else has experience of doing this

You can't do that i don't believe, but you could try and experiement with it and let us know what happens. Or leave it and come back right before frost hits to harvest it. or have a buddy look after it.

ebinezer...

i heard ina grow book that u can simply put a thick layer of trash bags over it in order to regulate how many hours of sun it gets. like put it on an hour before dark and take it off like 9-10am or something, im not sure of the exact hours needed to make ur plant flower but this would be a way to impose total darkness on the plant, i guess it would work

ive heard that a few times too, but you will have to run it like clockwork. if 1 day the plant gets more light than it did the day before or vice versa, then youre basically gonna fuck it up and turn it hermie

force flowering

Hey bro,

I forced an outdoor plant to flower, it was my first grow. It was a pain, but I stuck with it and it was worth it. I have a greenhouse, and started her back the 1st of March. She grew to 5ft tall by Mid May, so I removed her from the greenhouse every night at 7:00, and put her back in at 7:00 in the morning. This is similar to what indoor growers do with thier lights. After 8 weeks of that she was good to go. It is a pain being home every night to put her away, and up every day to get her back in the sun, but it worked and it was worth it. Some pics over on HG. I got a bit paranoid and gave it up after that one, but she got me well over an OZ. Good luck. The 16" ain't gonna get you a dime bag though.
