planting by a lake?
if i plant my plants like right next to a lake, would that be good enough for a water source or should i still fill up buckets and water them directly?

Next to a lake or not the ground we all stand on has water in it, how do you think everything else survives...obviously living next to a lake you will have a much higher water table so your roots should be happy, just don't get TOO close to the lake where the soil is always wet from seepage. And rain is obviously a big helper.
