Florida Growers tips

Hi I just signed up for these forumns since my favorite website Overgrow.com got shutdown by the feds.

I live in Central Florida and I have a serious desire to learn how to grow outdoors in Florida for personal use.

Anyone with experience, stories, grows or any helpful information about the growing season and or concerns that a newbie grower should know about throw them into this thread.

I don't know about all of you but I am boycotting the mexican marijuana industry that is rampant in Florida and in turn will get a better smoke at a better price.

Post on and I will launch my grow here in the next few months and I will be trying Ducksfoot by Wallyduck and pineapplexc99.



Ps can anyone confirm this for me.

Someone told me that any months except for june and july in Florida count as 12/12 so for example if you started plants indoors and they grew to say 5 inches and put them out in January.

They would imeediately go into flower and not yield hardly anything.

Is this true?

welcome takeen. Just wanted to drop by and support you thread. I have a florida grow in progrress. FIrst grow to result in some kind of bud. I dont have much experience but i would like to see some culti-masters shed some knowlege on florida growing. DenverDidit420!

I would like to ask you a some questions on your grow E.


How much did you vedge and did you do it indoors or start them outdoors from seed?


Reason I ask is that I hear if you put seedlings out at anytime of the year other than june or july your plants will immediately go into flowering which means shorter mature plants and less yield.


How big have yours gotten?



I did have a c99xgrapefruit and 2 Ducksfoot plants in a friends back yard but his neighbor was outside on his phone one day and yanked them cause they were almost in his yard.

The c99xgrapefruit smelled like fresh pineapples from day one and she really took off and last I saw her she was about 1 foot tall.

I really wanna order some more of those lovely seeds but I still have lots of ducksfoot to work with if only I could find a decent site to grow the damned things.
