Starting grow soon (too late?)

i know most of all the time growers plant around 420ish but i recently got really bored and decided to grow outdoors in my backyard (don't worry its a pretty concealed area) i live very very southern georiga, near jacksonville, FL and around here it has alot of humidity and rain, and sometimes it'll be rather cool (60-75 F) or sometimes cold (30-60 F)

I made a nice little grow spot (got rid of weeds around and removed the top soil and replaced with store bought good soil) Sun light might be a little problem...but it isn't a big one bc lots of other shit grows there too?

also is it good to have the plant near a tree?

also i'm planting 4 seeds (germinating now)

would it be a good idea to allow more sunlight to remove some of the high overlying vines and misc branches to allow optimal sunlight?

also last question....what could i expect, in terms of yeild, and potency (good bagseeds)

(alot of questions i know but any comments or questions would muchly be appreciated)

Um, good luck.

You're gonna definitely want to cut away all the vines and branches above; if you try planting this time of year, you're gonna want ALL the sun you can get.

Those cold temperatures might not kill your plants, but it's gonna be tough. Your final results will definitely suffer from 30-60 degree temperatures in winter.

Also, I don't know how you're going to get them to flower. The days are only gonna be getting longer and longer...that's the opposite of what you want for flowering...you might have to build some sort of shade structure so that you can make longer nights yourself when you try to flower.

Don't expect great results; there's a reason growers usually plant in the spring. Weed is a tough plant, so I bet you'll be able to have a successful grow, but don't expect a huge, super-high-quality harvest.

to be honest, i don't think an outdoor is possible now

like Fëanor mentioned, the days are getting longer and longer, and you won't be able to flower, or they won;t have time to fully flower without you doing a bunch iof work and covering them from sunlight, or bringing them inside or something

and remember, it needs uninterrupted darkness, light during their flowering darkness time will cause it to turn hermi

i would just wait if it was me, cause ur doing the opposite or normal seasons now, vegging during short days, and flowering during longer days

u could always do a small indoor mini grow using some cheap cfl's now

with whatever u decide though, good luck

You know what you should do. Plant as soon as the lowest the temperature will get is about 40 degrees. Then you will have fuckin MONSTER plants that have been vegging for months. Do that, it would be awesome to see.

Don't know about S. Georgia but living in central Florida, I'm able to start outside grows about late January/February. Seeing as how temperatures don't go below 50, they're usually alright.

Planting at that time gives me a harvest around May.

Happy growing.
