well that is a very hard question to answer. we are gonna need ALOT more info. maybe u could explain the situation a whole lot better. like what is ur soil like now. what kinda plants are there now. is it wet for 1 day or a month after it rains? is there trees and what kind? how are u going to prepare the site? rototill maybe or are u going to just dig a small hole and hope the weeds dont take it over?

we need more info.

as to the acid question, that i dont understand what ur exactly asking.

mj doesnt 'make' acid, it likes a slightly acidic soil. but please dont just throw out acid because we need more info first before we know if u need it or not. more than likely if ur soil is dry upland soil, u wont need acid, just a bit of fert. about 1/2 way thru and at the end of the grow.

by the way, u asked this question in the indoor growing room yaknow?

I am using All in One Soil Now but when i transplant into the woods i am going to put the same around the plant (about 6 inchs or so). Then there is going to be clay. But i am going to roto-til the soil up with my shuvle so the natural soil isnt rock hard. I am going to lay this black stuff around my small garden about a foot under the soil (its meant to keep weeds from growing up, my mom uses it in her vege gardens). Its probley wet for 2-3 days back in the spot i picked out. Its going along a small stream so i am going to do the watering method i saw in another thread (put a gas can under a rock with holes in it the attach a hose and go down stream so i will have water supply easier than toting water back a half mile). SORRY I PUT THIS IN THE WRONG SECTION ITS MEANT TO BE IN OUTDOOR GROWING

Question

And also i am using a 100 watt lightbulb. My new plant sproated about 2 inchs, the leaves need to spread apart it looks like. I think i started it 3 or 4 days ago. When it starts to get bigger i am going to transplant it to the spot in the woods. When i put it in the woods will i get and company from animals nosing around. How will i be able to prevent that. I have some old chicken would that work or something else anybody has to reccomend. I havee had the light on for two days now sense it sproated. Do i switch to 12/12 now or what? I water frequently with a spray bottle.
