Angry Spider Mites @ 5 Weeks Flowering!

Holy crap, I can't believe it. I have a huge Power Plant that is almost ready to harvest and just noticed the top cola is full of those dreaded spider mites!
So far I've cut as many leaves as possible off her but is it advisable to spray with a light soap spray this late? Or should I just harvest what I have even though yield and effect will be lower? This is the first time I have run across this problem. I'm growing in 5 gallon pots outside.
I will appreciate any help that is offered.

I would think that if you harvested them as is that the mites would survive inside during drying. I'd just kill them now with the soap spray. The moisture won't be any worse than a rain and the soap is pretty harmless. I would even be tempted to rinse them off after the bugs die to get the little carcasses out of there and to get the soap residue off before they start to dry. You'll need to shake the water off and get a fan going in the drying room.

HIGH All, DataBass has the right idea.....I'd just spray a strong stream of water on the plant and wash O.F.F.F. them Borgs...it's better to do this than spray them with something you don't want to smoke.

theres this product called SAFER'S soap all natural made from vegetables i use it all the time
u can get it at any garden centre
simply spray on the under side of the leaves after the sun goes off ur plants, leave on for a couple hours and rinse off thuroly
do this every secound day time the mites r gone
