What is a good way of starting out plant from a seed? I have planted 10 seeds and only one has came up. I started the seeds in a glass of water over night then planted them. Needs some other methods of germination.

if you havent already germanated the other seeds then go to your nearest hardware or botany shop and get these things called peat discs.you just put water on them and the swell up to the size of large marshmallows and drop the seed into a little hole at the top.put the disc in a dark,warm area.like on top o a refrigerater.then in a couple days take it of the fridge and plant the and the seed into the soil.the dics are 100% biodegradable so the will decompose and you dont have to risk hurting the plant by touching the roots.happy growing

When did you plant them?....some seeds can take up to a week to show above the surface...also how deep did you plant them....usually an inch to inch and half is ideal.....Peace out....Sid
