floppy stem and watering question

my stem to my 7 day old plant is really floppy?and the stem is purple. the leaves are nice and green though.

do you think this is a watering problem?

how often should i water the plant?

while the plant is a sprout (has less than three sets of leaves) keep the doil damp, but not soaked. once the plant is established water only when the soil gets dry.

purple stem is ok.

floppy stem is not. is the stem streached?.......if so it's probably lack of direct sun light.

do the thing where you put a fan *LIGHTLY* blowing across the plant(s). Its supposed to help strengthen the stem.
