Temp question for my outdoor grow...

Hey... I'm up in the NE, and temps are hovering nicely in the low to mid 90's with relative humidity at near 50%... It's hit near a hundred a few times... I was just wondering if the heat's going to have any adverse reactions. I know in indoor grows heat is a big issue... Is it the same for outdoors as well?

Thumbs up

No, dont worry about it. Im up in CT and mine are doing great. I lived in Texas for 2 years where it would hit always be above 100, and i didnt have any problems. But ya the weather here has been perfect for growing, sun for most of the day, then rain.

Yeah... That big ass Bermuda High is funneling the hot, humid ass air straight up from the gulf of Mexico... It's hot as hell all day and scattered T-Storms sometimes in the evenings. I'm not complaining as it's keeping them watered so I don't have to

I checked on mine today and for the most part they're doing excellent. A few got overgrow by the surrounding vegetation (it's crazy aggressive and has to be kept in check constantly, or it'll totally bury my babies), but I pushed it all back and tied them all down (I'm going with the LST method) today... Hopefully the intense sun will speed up some of the growth now that plants have a greater area exposed to it

Thanks for the input though. I'm glad to hear that they do alright in TX. If they can handle it there, they should be fine here... This is my first grow of any sort, so I just figured I'd check to be sure
