well i topped my plants yesterday and now where i cut it seems to be a dark brown or even black.Did i hurt my baby or what.Also im gonna put it on a 12/12 cycle to force flowering to determin the sex then put it back on a regular cycle so it can get bigger.Or should i just force the flowering on one leaf or what?any help would be apprecaited and if yall could help me in a bout an hour before i leave, would be apprecaited.thx

No you have not commited any long term damage!
You can determine sex by covering just one of the lower branches, use a brown paper bag, (not plastic!!) to cover the branch for 12/12.

How big should the lower branches be And by lower branches do u mean the sets of leaves or the actual branch that has several leaves on it? I hope that made since..Mine are still pretty small.They just now started getting big.There probaly 4 or 5 mm thick.I think if it is thick and big enough i will start it on a 12/12 tommorow.
