This is kind of an outdoor question because of how im going to grow

I got skunk#1 that i am going to germinate prolly 2 seeds...Now my parents could care less about me growing and i was wondering would it be okay for when they start growing to just put them on the windowsill (well right below it on a stand) Will that be sufficient or should i get a light because they have to be on 24/24...I didnt want to buy a hps system as they can just sit right next to the window seems a bit redundant to put them on lights when they can have the sunlight?

Also I have germinated through the paper towel method any better ideas...i was thinking the soaking in water method...I will probobly just do the paper towel method

And if i need a light will i still get an okay yield with florous...???

You may want to germ. more than two seeds just incase you get two males.

Just use the paper towel method. Once they have grown their root taps plant them and cover the cup or whatever to keep the envrio. moist. You could throw the cup or whatever on a window sill then but it will not grow very well at all there.

If your parents dont care then i suggest you invest and start up a cheap CFL indoor grow. Check out Vokal420's grow journals. This guy is damn informed when it comes to plants and has done wonders with just compact flourescents.

i suggest u buy some lights.. Window growing aint that good unless it gets 6hr's of direct sunlight.. But other then that, the plant will strech out, and start bedding side ways.. So get some Flo's or get your self a Hps system, or just grow outdoor..

As a depthc said, you should germ more then 2 seeds. I would stick with what germing method is working with you.

As for lights or a windowsill - Go outside or get lights. On a window, you will get brutal stretching, a chance of people seeing the plants, bad light distrobution and as the plants get large, you will have no way of keeping them in lights, or on the sill.
Picture a 7' tall plant were you are growing, doable?

You need to rethink your plans.
