UK weather. . . ? please help!

I want to grow some plants. Soon as possible.
However it's just coming into the Winter now, so I'm guessing
it wouldn't be the best time to start. When would you
recommend growing? I live in Ireland. So the weather isn't great

(Please note: I'm not too concerned with the quality of the weed. . .
I'm well used to smoking mids. . .

)

I'm in the north, had a few plants outdoors this summer. You should probably start them round the end of april (or start them indoors earlier than this and move outside). Autoflowering strains are good for uk growers cus our season is kinda short. You want them to finish round the end of September cus...well you know the weather.

You will have to wait until April or May before planting out. I would start some seeds in January sex them and then clone them in March-April ready for planting out in early may when the last frost has gone, indeed this is my plan for next year.

Try these strains in the UK or Ireland: Passion #1, Orange bud, Easy Sativa, Early Durban. Anything that is CERTAIN to finish round the end of September or early Oct autos are ok but usually have a small yield but are handy if you NEED an early season smoke.

Dont take the seedbanks word regarding finishing times. Check with the breeder then look for grow reports that confirm the finishing time.

Start plants now and they are doomed to FAIL outside!!

Thanks very much for the help. Also, sativasam, those are exactly the 4 strains I'd had in mind LOL I think I'll be going with Early Durban, or maybe Orange bud

I would recommend the Easy sat over the durban as the durban is not so potent or reliable, the smoke reports for the Easy say that its a very uplifting racy high and it also finishes sooner.

The orange or passion should have plenty of indica stone for you though there are many and various indicas that will finish Ok for you so you wil have to look around for more. The hardest to finish in our crappy climate are the sativas and as such are fewer.

Try one sat and one indica see which you prefer maybe.
