i have personally just pollinated a G-13 labs Thai Super Skunk with a pukka long john silver auto flowering, they get about 4ft. in 4 month life cycle along with a G-13 labs Poison Dwarf Auto which is Norther Lights x Ruderelis, then i also crossed both those autos with my Barneys farm Nightshade, next will be the autos with my Dinafem Cali Hash which is 90% Afghani x 10% Northern Lights and then Hermie a nightshade clone and breed it with a cali hash and its self so ill end up with those seeds fem.
some may not care but im high and felt like rambling my plan |
Haha. Good plan.
I think you'll have a lot of variation in flowering times, size, bud structure (leafy/airy/compact/resin...) because even the seeds you planted have variation. But the parents are both potent and good quality, so the babies will be strong and have a good strcture generally too. You can seleet the best ones for next year. And after 3 years or so, you can get a good family of your own.
I croseed my GG5s together and got some viable seeds for next year but they might be not as I wanted we'll see. I prefer to keep it all early. No long sativas.
It's good to breed a longer plant and a shorter flowering (auto/semi auto) plant but you need a few years to stabilize it as I said earlier.
But for the "purists", using autos will kill the cannabis gen. pool and they recommend to cross landrace strains (Mr. Nice etc..) with a stable sativa X a stable indica to reduce the flowering times (you can't grow a Thai easily in most places so you need to shorten it).
