High yah doin' all. Well, my first plant came down and been drying a few days. Smoked a nug last night, and YUMMMM! Now I'm getting ready to harvest another, but I'm not sure how to proceed - the buds/colas are very thick with trichs - the leaves are like fuzzy velour. But the majority of the buds are made up of these fuzzy leaves. On my first plant trimming off the sticky leaves was fairly easy, but I'm afraid if I manicure the same way, there won't be hardly any bud left. Should I just leave the fuzzy leaves on? Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Well, I've been monitoring the trichs using a delightfully cheap $13 60X-100X pocket microscope. Right now most of the trichs are cloudy and waiting to see a higher(yeah!) percentage of gold/ambers appear. I'm figuring about 25-30% gold/amber. I prefer a heady high, and with our shitty weather the last two weeks (fog, dew, and rain) mold has become a major problem all of the sudden. I've already had two cut up five of the eight main colas, so the sooner the better.

I got the microscope off widgetsupply.com. They also had a lot of other cool shit therre. If you buy from there, I'd opt for the USPS Priority shipping - it was cheaper and I got the scope and some other crap I couldn't resist in only 2 days.
